Cali Chilli in Downtown LA is an absolute gem! From the moment we arrived, the experience was seamless and inviting. Parking was a breeze with 90 minutes of free validation at Ava, making it super convenient to plan our visit. We kicked things off with mango lassis, something I’d been eager to try, and they exceeded all expectations! They were unbelievably fresh, perfectly balanced, and downright heavenly. To start, we ordered the pani puri and Cali Chilli nachos. Both dishes were bursting with vibrant flavors, and the presentation was as impressive as the taste. Each bite was a flavorful journey. For our main course, we shared the chicken tikka with garlic naan. The chicken was unbelievably tender and seasoned to perfection, while the naan was warm, garlicky, and ideal for scooping up every last bit of the delicious sauce. The service was just as outstanding as the food. Our server was incredibly kind and attentive, offering helpful recommendations and ensuring we were happy throughout our meal. Cali Chilli is a beautiful restaurant with cozy vibes, stunning dishes, and a welcoming atmosphere. I can’t wait to return and share this amazing spot with my family. Highly recommend!

Horrible service recently- waited 30 minutes to get seated and then another 15 minutes for food. Naan came uncooked and they just took it back and didn't come back with it. They didn't even fill pur waters for 15 minutes at a time and they said they were out of "normal" temperature water and only had iced water. Service was downright the worst ever had. Quality has gone down the barrell and quantity has gone down. Stay away. Terrible management.

Nice place, I've been previously. Not a lot of options for 'healthier' dining. As in - grilled items sans dairy filled sides. And, sadly there are no real vegetable dishes or vegetable sides.

I have to say this was a surprising, welcomed pleasure!! I will return home again to CA soon and will patron again. But for anyone with doubt, don't!!
