Family oriented restaurant..the owners were very hospitable and kind. The ambiance is very nice as well...the food is definitely the real winner and stand out! one bite tells you that it is clearly fresh! I WILL BE RETURNING!
Best halal Uzbek restaurant just open next to a masjid next door Fresh halal food that has Turkish and Uzbek cuisine. Highly recommend to take a reservation
I recently had the pleasure of dining at this incredible spot, and I must say, the experience was nothing short of exceptional. The flavors of the baklava were absolutely rich, with each bite bursting with authenticity and sweetness. Pairing it with their tea, which had a subtle taste of nostalgia, truly made the whole experience unique and memorable. On top of that, a large portion of their proceeds goes to support the local mosque, making every meal feel like a contribution to something greater. Our waiter, Jova, was also a highlight of the evening. His deep knowledge of the menu and excellent suggestions made the experience even better. He was attentive, friendly, and clearly passionate about the food, which added to the authenticity of the meal. I will definitely be returning soon and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for not just a meal, but an experience rooted in culture, tradition, and generosity.
This place is AMAZING! Authentic East Europe & Asian mixed place!!!! Recommend everything especially the skewers and fired laghman!!! Delicious! And honey cake also becomes my favorite. Definitely recommend you to try the compote drink a bit sweet and sour. Only thing I would say needs to be improved probably the bathroom needs to be a bit more clean and the restaurant floor as well. As they are super busy, parking is hard and limited as well. But it won’t stop me coming here to eat!?
I had dinner at this restaurant and had an absolutely amazing time. It was a great experience. The food was so good. This was my first time trying Uzbek food and it was great. The atmosphere was very calming and home like. It was very cozy. We had such an relaxing evening. The food was definitely 10/10 for us.
Terrible Experience at Caravan Uzbek Turkish Cuisine. This was hands down one of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve ever had. I ordered takeout and was already disappointed when I had to endure awful service while waiting for my order. The staff was unprofessional, and to make matters worse, the employees were loudly arguing in the kitchen it was chaotic and uncomfortable to witness. When I finally got my order, I was even more disappointed. I had ordered the Samsa, which looked delicious in the menu photo, but what I received was completely different: undercooked, unappetizing, and nowhere near what a proper Samsa should be. After eating just one, I experienced stomach pain, which is unacceptable and concerning for any restaurant. On top of the bad service and terrible food, the prices were outrageously high for what they delivered. This place is a disaster from start to finish. There are much better halal restaurants in Orlando where you can get great food and decent service. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place at all costs it’s not worth your time, money, or health.
If you’re looking for authentic food, Caravan is the place to go. This gem offers an incredible mix of Uzbek and Turkish cuisine that is as flavorful as it is authentic. Every dish is made from scratch, and you can truly taste the difference in the freshness and quality of the ingredients. The menu is filled with delicious options, from tender kebabs to savory plov, flaky samsas, and rich, hearty soups. Each dish is packed with flavor and prepared with care, capturing the essence of traditional Uzbek and Turkish cooking. The portions are generous, making it a great value for the price. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, adding to the warm and inviting atmosphere of the restaurant. They’re attentive and always happy to explain the menu or recommend dishes if it’s your first time. Caravan has quickly become one of my favorite places to dine, and I’ll definitely be coming back. Whether you’re already a fan of Uzbek and Turkish food or want to try something new, this place will not disappoint. Every visit feels like a culinary journey, and I highly recommend it to anyone who loves authentic, homemade food. Five stars, without a doubt!
I really enjoyed how clean and put together the inside of this restaurant was. Our server was very attentive to EVERYONE really, obviously, us included. The menu selections have great variety; we're definitely coming back to try everything on there. My noodles were so fresh and spiced so uniquely. I also got a delightful turkish coffee that came with a refreshing bit of their fruit compote drink. I can't wait to come back... probably tomorrow!
I am not a fan of Orlando, but I absolutely love this restaurant. Food is amazing and service was amazing. Today was my second time here and Saedah was absolutely amazing. She answered my questions and recommended some excellent stuff since I was having a hard time making up my mind. Looks like this place will be my go to place every time I have to travel for work and come here. My only suggestion to the owner is the lighting. It is just bit extra bright.
I recommend you come to see for yourself but our second time in 3 days. The food is worth the drive. The service is always so attentive. We got 3 desserts but were attacked too fast for pictures, not too sweet, very flavorful and good.
