Omar Momand is the entrepreneur behind Caravan Kabob House. Seeking new opportunities, he moved to Canada in 2001 and started working as a freelance photographer. In 2006, Omar discovered his love for the culinary arts through working at his family- owned restaurant Bamiyan Kabob, a prominent Afghan restaurant in the GTA. In 2012, he established Watan Kabob in Mississauga. In 2014, he collaborated with Harirud Corporation to establish Caravan Kabob House in the heart of Brampton. Caravan Kabob House is one of the best places for 100% halal certified Afghan cuisine in all of Ontario.

Ive been to hundreds of restaurants in my lifetime and this is the all time worst service ever. It took almost an hour to get my food. I had a baby with me who started to cry and the guy gave the people that came after me their food first. He asks me to pay cash but says he isnt comfortable taking my 100$ when he should have a sign that he doesnt accept any 100$ bills. The food was not worth the wait.
