Was in the area for a janazah the 1st time and it was abit spicy but still good. Was back recently and it was much improved so definitely earned the title FIREMEN APPROVED!
Kandahar Grill is truly one of the best places in New York for authentic Afghan food. The flavors are rich, fresh, and full of tradition. Every dish tastes homemade and prepared with love. The kebabs are perfectly grilled juicy and full of amazing spices. The rice is soft and fragrant and the portions are very generous the restaurant is clean, welcoming and the staff are very kind and respectful they make you feel like family from the moment you walk in the prices are also very reasonable,,,, If you are looking for delicious halal food with real authentic taste, Kandahar Grill is definitely worth visiting. Kandahar Grill is a great halal spot in Hicksville! We ordered the family platter, and the serving was more than enough for all of us. The food was delicious, and the staff were very nice and helpful throughout our visit. If you’re dining in, they automatically add an 18% tip to the total—but honestly, the service and hospitality deserve it. Definitely worth a visit for generous portions and friendly service.
