I just visited for the second time and I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt because I like to support small business and especially minority businesses, but the fact is this place falls short in customer service and warmth, portion and flavor consistency. The lady who took my order this time didn’t seem like she wanted to be there. I asked her to please take off the dine in charge because I was getting my food to go. She refused to do so. This went against my principles in reference to customer service and what’s right and wrong. My husband told me to cancel and get a refund, but I still wanted to support. But I don’t believe people should have to pay additional money for something they aren’t taking part in. I purchased the meat patties and jolloff rice this time. The jolloff wasn’t even filled to the top for the $10 price tag and it didn’t taste good this time. Tasted burned and not fully cooked. The meat patties, while consistently delicious, are never filled either. Everything this time and the last time seems skimpy. Like they try to skimp on the food but charge top notch prices. The goat last time I ordered was very small and lacked flavor and cost over $30 for a mini platter. I really wanted to like this place and I tried twice. I will unfortunately not be returning. 😔
