I’ve been to Burg & Shaw in Boston twice now… and honestly, it’s one of those spots you keep thinking about after you leave. What I luv about it is the whole concept, it’s not just burgers or shawarma, it’s both. That whole “Burg meets Shaw” idea actually comes through in the food. You can tell they really built this place around that fusion story, not just as a gimmick but as something they believe in. The burger? Genuinely amazing. Proper smash burger, juicy, flavorful, and that house sauce just hits. But the shawarma… that’s what surprised me the most. It’s fantastic, super well marinated, fresh, and packed with flavor. You don’t usually find both done this well in one place. Also, quick shoutout to the sauces Toumiya (garlic paste)- they’re. You can tell they actually care about the details, not just the main item. And a fun tip: if you leave a review, you can actually get free ice cream… which is a pretty nice bonus after a solid meal Overall, it’s one of those rare spots where the concept, the story, and the food all align. Definitely coming back again.
