Darbunah Restaurant in Dearborn is a really nice Iraqi restaurant with beautiful decor. The space is very well designed and has a great atmosphere. The tea was very good, and the mint lemonade was especially refreshing. We started with the labneh with za'atar, which was very flavorful, and the bread that came with it was soft and clearly freshly made. For the main dish we had the pompano fish. It came with two types of rice and a very refreshing salad. I liked that the salad didn't have onions, and it had small pieces of lemon rind that added a really nice flavor. The fish itself was very well seasoned. Everything came out fairly fast and the staff was friendly throughout the meal. Overall the decor is beautiful and the food was very enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to try something unique and a little different.
