It's the best lamb over rice that I've ever had. Their lamb gyro salads are incredible too, much better than anything you get elsewhere.
This place is exceptional. See bullet points below: **Please see PHOTO for size of portion, then realize I ALREADY ATE HALF of it when I took pic, also I added some jalapeños, but I think they have extras on site too* -math makes it a better deal than in the city -taste makes it equal to most in the city carts (there’s a wide range, if you know you know) -there aren’t any carts by us for there to be a loss of income for the carts… -Culturally diverse and welcoming staff Just to be thorough, only criticism from that visit: -chicken Slightly dry without sauce, but I would never do halal w/o white sauce/hot sauce, so it’s never a problem Edit: 3/3/22 chicken was great today, so chock one up for outliers ?
The reason why I give this place 1 star rating is because I bought chicken over rice around 8PM & went home then minutes after eating the chicken over rice my stomach started to hurt so bad that it made me sick and throw up Food poisoning. Don’t eat here
It's the best Halal lamb Gyro in NYC. The people there are really friendly. The gyro is filling and I couldn't eat anything else. From the photo you can see how big and stuffed it's. I'll always come here for one of the best Halal food in NYC. Prices are good too compared to the value.
Absolutely delicious and LARGE portions! We have gone back a few times now and have gotten the chicken tenders (very large - similar to Popeyes) the wings - got the lemon pepper, and the chicken over rice bowls which were absolutely delicious, one of tbe best in the city! Everyone’s always been extremely nice, and delivery has always been quick. Highly recommend
I have never eaten here purely because of the horrific smell of old grease permeating out of it. No exaggeration, I can smell it from across the street. How many rinse cycles do those poor employees have to do when they wash their work clothes? This place STANK!
On Mon 01/13/2025, I decided to check out this halal n out spot. I ordered chicken over rice. The prices are far too high, and I paid $13. The food was horrible, I tell you. The food was like some kind of Mexican style Halal. The salad had far too much raw cilantro, and the meat was far too reddish colored and bland. And the smell, it is still stuck in my head! Mexican food does not mesh well with regular halal food. I had one spoon full, and I had to throw the food away. Come on, guys, that was really bad. Feel free to give me a refund. I don't know who cooked that food, but that was not halal food. It was more mexican. I AM VERY UPSET! The dish was not edible!
Excellent food. I have ordered here when I'm around the area and I'm always satisfied . I like the lamb gyro and steak pita. Very big portions too
