Situated near Pod Brooklyn hotel. i always order takeout dinner from this place. the food is really great! and it is convenient for people who are staying at the hotel nearby and need halal food! I love the Chicken over Rice as well as Fish Over Rice. The portion is worth it! and i feel it is more tasty than The Halal Guys (just my personal preference). The owners are really welcoming and friendly, i really appreciate the food and service here. Highly recommended!
Food was so good and they have great service! I told the chief they I never had before and he gave me a pice of lamb and chicken. It was yummy, so I came back next day and I got ch chicken over rice: So delicious. A lot of portion with great price. Thank you!!
Best Street Food in NYC…we came from Frankfurt (Germany) to visit that spot…the sauces are incredible good…the owners are really nice and we had a lot of fun with them…thanks for serving us so well…cheers
As a native New Yorker this halal was MID. Where they do good is keeping plates cheap $10 for chicken lamb combo but the plate is smaller than usual. Also being a cart open late is dope. Might come back but it'll be a last resort.
It was a perfect choice for my last meal before fly back to home. Guys were friendly and food was amazing. Their white sauce is on point. I asked a little bit of hot sauce and it was great! Portion was decent for me too. Meats were also flavorful. I feel so lucky that they were right next to my hotel so took me 1 min walk to get this gem. If you stay in Pod brooklyn, you should try this. Definitely gonna love it.
I ordered combo over rice for take out. When I go home in 4-5 minutes Ai that time I started to eat that food. They provide white sauce and that smell was so bad. I felt so nasty. Lamb was dry and old. I went to them 3 years but no more. Now I’m suffering for my stomach. Already 7 times went to the bathroom . I’ll never go to this store again in my life .
Brooklyn Egyptian run halal food cart. Nice guys working. The lamb plate was delicious, meat was tender and spiced perfectly, go easy on the hot sauce. Also really enjoyed the falafel sandwich could be more crisp but it was def high quality falafel. Fish wrap also good, takes a bit longer to prep but worth waiting.
I am rarely in Williamsburg anymore. I live in Gravesend. Today we were on a cookie hunt and stopped at Levain Bakery. Then we were hungry. My Godson wanted to try the Halal food truck as we searched for good food places near us. It was around the corner. This is a very small food truck. We ordered the rice and chicken. The chicken was cooked to perfection and very tastie and rice was perfect. The owner and server said, "You know we are famous" and sure enough both Instagram and TikTok had tons of reviews. From tiny places often come the greatest foods. This was no exception. I only wished I lived closer. Thanks for an amazing meal.
