I ordered to-go through Door Dash and they look good! It was good for the price the Lamb Gyro Rice Bowl was $16.20 and I got the Baklava, two pieces for $4.30. The flavor of the lamb was delicious and the baklava was the right amount of sweet. The food was still nice and hot by the time I got the food and they follows my request of no peppers. I would try the food here in person if I was in downtown. I like they use paper bag so less plastic in the world.

The chicken was great! Lean meat, and not greasy … also, portion size for protein only was very generous. Great street food style place for grab and go, I recommend Abu Omar! ⭐️

Abu Omar Halal is a fantastic spot! The food is amazing—always fresh, flavorful, and authentic. The prices are great for the quality, and the portions are generous. Plus, they’re open late, which makes it super convenient for a late-night bite. Parking is decent, so it’s usually easy to find a spot. Highly recommend for anyone craving delicious halal food in Houston!

Ordered rice bowl special Rice was under cooked Lamb was dry Salad was wet Customer service subpar - i was one penny short and he asked me for a penny - when I asked him to spot me for one. Poor presentation. Go to the Almeda location, yes.

Tasty shawarma, same taste what we have in middle east. Nice hospitality. Great location. The best part is it is open until 3AM which is very rare. If live near down town take a metro and get down to central Main station or Preston, same walking distance from both the station. Nice ambience having food outdoor enjoying night vibe and breeze. I recommend this place and they serve only Halal food.

So disappointed with the food when we were so looking forward to it!! Can you tell how many fries are in there… the boxes are deceiving and the food is mediocre. We paid 40 bucks for this and 2 drinks. Which were btw 5 bucks each. Save your money and get McDonald’s or something else. Walk down the street and get a slice of dental’s pizza more fulfilling than this.

I’ve been a cyclist delivery for 3 years and never tried their food before. Today was the day, and oh my god! I will eat here everyday from now on! Their food and customer service… AMAZING! I would give 10 stars!!!
