We found this place based on the excellent reviews and IMO they're well deserved. It was early in the evening and the place wasn't yet filled, so there was time to ask the friendly server for recommendations on the their signature dishes. This made choosing much easier since there were many appealing options. The Chicken Barg - pounded and grilled chicken breast - was beautifully spiced and cooked, without the dryness often caused by overcooking. We upgraded the rice to the Addas Polo, which included the most delicious blend of rice, lentils, raisins, dates and shallots - this was outstanding. The Lamb Shank was tender in its spicy, flavourful sauce. The serves were very generous and choosing the smallest table meant we quickly ran out of space. Service was attentive and impeccable - very rare in LA throughout my experience so far. Even the way they brought out take away containers for our leftovers was done so thoughtfully. The simple and elegant decor was very pleasant. Conclusion: this place is definitely worth returning to and earns its 5 stars.
