The menus clearly state that halal food is served.. From the management: 'We are a full halal establishment (chicken, beef and lamb). There is always Halal certification and please ask for the Chef or the Manager in order to get all necessary information.'
Lebanese cuisine served in a Mediterranean atmosphere. Reservations and takeout available online.

Alcohol and halal food don\'t coexist .. Don\'t trust a place that servess alcohol to serve halal food. It doesn\'t rime...
Waitress confirmed entire menu is halal. Food was of great quality. All three of us thought this was our best meal in LA over the two days we spent there
Where is there ANY indication that this place is halal. I have confirmed with multiple people who work there that it is NOT zabihah and it is NOT halal. I have worked in their long beach location and neither location is halal and hasn't for years. There website used to mention the long beach location as halal but they don't even say that on the website or menu or anywhere. Where is this "halal" sign, it does NOT exist. If the owner is claiming the meat is halal he better have receipts to back it up otherwise he's opening himself to a lawsuit. Ask your waitresses and ask for any proof of Halal, you will not find it.
As with the Long Beach location the food here is very good. Price wise it's a little pricey but take into account the area you are in. Parking is a little hard otherwise expect to give your car to valet.
Very nice atmosphere and tasty food. Nice place to go for dinner although u may have to wait for a table.
I’m constantly craving eating here. Such an amazing family atmosphere. From the people eating there to the employees present. 10/10 the lamb chops are my favorite and the garlic dip with french fries. Can’t forget the Lebanese coffee for dessert with my favorite labneh cheesecake WOW. They have a Los Angeles location and Long Beach too. Definitely check it out for the freshness and a delicious nutritional full meal!
Came for an early dinner then enjoyed it very much. Great atmosphere and vibes, music was great and in tune with the cuisine. The Sultan dish was yummy except for slightly dry pork chops. Docked one star there. The Sunday special chicken dish was excellent and very flavorful, would recommend. Great spot, will be back!
This place is wonderful, the food is amazing and the garlic sauce is addicting. I could eat spoonfuls of it. Cocktails and drinks were a 9/10, service was stellar and the atmosphere was my favorite part. Will definitely be back at some point.
As a Middle Easterner, I can confidently say that this is some of the most authentic Lebanese cuisine I’ve experienced in Southern California. The owner and staff went above and beyond to make our late-night dinner truly memorable and enjoyable. We ordered a party platter for the table and a mezza sampler, both of which were exceptional. The meat was perfectly seasoned, juicy, and incredibly tender, showcasing the care and quality put into every dish. The variety and freshness of the mezza were equally impressive, making each bite a delight. The atmosphere was vibrant and inviting, with a fun and funky vibe that complemented the experience. The upbeat house music added a modern and energetic touch, creating the perfect backdrop for an evening of great food and conversation. Fantastic value for the quality and an overall unforgettable experience!
Open Sesame has a wide variety of Mediterranean food that is very authentic and tasty providing a selection of meat from chicken and lamb to beef. The taste melts in your mouth. They have good quantity for big groups.
Outside no good on the hot days, inside is small but intimate. My food came with everything overcooked and dry. Our waiter, Marcello, was so gracious, professional, and attentive, just great customer service. Adam made sure that our entire order was made over with love. The cocktails were amazing!! This was our first time here, I recommend it, and I will be returning to try more items on the menu!! I put the qr code there for all of you
Excellent food: delicious spicy hummus (and they don’t chintz on the “spicy”), falafel, and halloumi. Kids liked the spicy garlic potatoes. Cauliflower was hot but a bit bland. Had tahini on the side, but also not flavorful. Service was friendly and attentive. Seats undesirable: small, round, and hard. Is it impossible to find a lovely slender female paratrooper? Am I reaching for the stars?
By far my favorite place to go! This restaurant is 5 stars all around. The food is absolutely remarkable, every dish is packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. The potato with the sauce as an appetizer is simply indescribable, and the lamb chops are next-level amazing. On top of that, the service is outstanding, attentive, friendly, and truly elevates the entire experience. I absolutely love this place, the ambiance, the food, and highly recommend it to anyone looking for an unforgettable dining experience!
