In this time of inflation, it’s hard to find places that still offer both quality and quantity at a fair price. Halaloglu delivers on both! The portions are generous, and the flavors are always spot on. Definitely worth every penny. Highly recommend!

The Beef Wrap and Chicken Wrap were packed with flavor—juicy, perfectly seasoned, and wrapped in the freshest bread. The Eggplant with Rice was a standout dish, with its rich, smoky flavor paired with perfectly cooked rice. And the Kofte Kebab? Absolutely incredible—tender, flavorful, and grilled to perfection. The staff was warm and welcoming, ensuring the experience was just as great as the food. The cozy atmosphere made it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a hearty meal. If you’re looking for high-quality Turkish food with exceptional service, Halaloglu is the place to go. I can’t wait to return and try more from their amazing menu!

If you are looking for delicious authentic Turkish food, don’t look anywhere else. I have been there many times and the entrees are fantastic. The owner is super nice and he makes you feel like you are at his home. Very welcoming with fantastic food!

Very authentic flavors. I’ve been to Türkiye and the Adana kebab was amazing. They gave us free lentil soup to sample and it was delicious, exactly like my mom’s. People are very nice and inside is very clean and relaxing atmosphere.

Halaloglu is an absolute gem! The Adana wrap was packed with incredible flavor, perfectly seasoned, and cooked to perfection. The beef sandwich was just as amazing—fresh, juicy, and made with the highest quality ingredients. And the rice pudding? Easily the best I’ve had outside of Turkey—so creamy, rich, and utterly delicious! Beyond the food, the service was exceptional. The lady who served us was the kindest person, and her warm smile truly brightened my day, especially after a long and tiring trip. Her hospitality made the experience even more special. If you’re looking for authentic, flavorful Turkish food with a welcoming atmosphere, Halaloglu is the place to go. Can’t wait to come back!

Amazing food, even better service. This hidden gem is of a place is one the best places to eat in orange county. Phenomenally nice staff is the cherry on top.

I had an amazing dining experience at Halalglu Turkish Restaurant in Costa Mesa. Not only is the food authentic, fresh, and bursting with flavor, but the staff is truly incredible! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality. The team was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure our dining experience was perfect. Every dish was cooked to perfection. The spices and fresh ingredients brought out the best in every bite. The atmosphere was welcoming and cozy, making it a great spot for any occasion. As a halal restaurant, it’s also a top choice for those looking for delicious and quality halal options. I highly recommend Halalglu to anyone in Costa Mesa looking for outstanding Turkish cuisine and impeccable service. I’ll definitely be returning!

After our recent travels to Istanbul, we were craving for some good Turkish food and spotted this place during our errands and decided to add to our “try next” list and I’m so happy we stopped by and was welcomed by the owner/staff and helped with some recommendations and even got to sample a few of their proteins prior to deciding our dishes. We ended up getting the shrimp bowl and the beef bowl and wow the amount of serving was an ample portion. Better servings than pre-chipotle times I’d say(iykyk). The bowls were packed with so many great and different flavors. I am a sauce girl so I had to drench my bowl with the garlic and hot sauce they provided. ? As Turkish traditions goes, there’s complimentary Turkish tea available for after you finish your meal (to aid in digestion) and it was such a nostalgic feeling having tea after every meal in Turkey to be made available. We chatted briefly with the owner about our visit in Turkey and how we enjoyed visiting some of the famous sites and enjoying all the amazing food Turkey has to offer and how the food reminded us of it. If you ever want to try Turkish food, you must come here for that homely, street food experience. Thank you for the amazing food again!! Can’t wait to visit again soon ?
