This place has officially set the bar for Indian food in Jersey City. Every dish was packed with flavor, beautifully balanced, and clearly made with a lot of care. The four of us ordered a feast so we could try as much as possible, and not a single dish disappointed. The standouts were the choley tikki chaat, the smoky Amritsari bhatti murgh, the Lahori jhinga double roti, which was unlike anything we’ve had before, and the comforting Sarson da Saag platter that was served with makki roti and homemade makhan, gud, and the most delicious chaas we’ve had. The butter chicken deserves a special mention of its own as it was the closest we’ve had to the iconic Delhi-style butter chicken. And save room for dessert. The bread tiramisu “shahi tukda” was such a creative twist and the perfect way to end the meal. We are already looking forward to coming back to try the rest of the menu!
