Awesome place with authentic food. I really loved the ambiance and the decor. The food was exceptional. The halwa puri included cholay and aaloo tarkari, which were full of flavors. The puri were crispy and light. The kebab was nice, along with the omlette and paratha. Lastly, the chai was exceptional and was cherry on top of great food experience. Will definitely recommend it.
I recently visited Laree Adda, and while the food was absolutely top-notch, the service left much to be desired. We ordered the Mozang Chicken Karahi, which was packed with authentic flavors and cooked to perfection. The Samosa Chaat was also amazing, with just the right balance of spices and textures. The kitchen clearly knows what they’re doing. Unfortunately, the service didn’t match the quality of the food. We waited 10 minutes for someone to take our order, and when no one came, I had to go to the counter to place it myself. Throughout the meal, no one came by to check if we needed anything. Every time we wanted something, I had to get up and go to the counter, which was frustrating and made the experience less enjoyable. To sum up, the food at Laree Adda was fantastic and worth trying, but the lack of attentive service really took away from the overall experience. If the service improves, this could easily become a go-to spot for great Pakistani cuisine.
I had the pleasure of dining at Laree Adda in Jersey City with my family, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The service stood out for its professionalism and efficiency. Our order was taken promptly, and the staff made sure we were comfortable throughout the evening. The food was served right on time, which added to the overall positive experience. The dishes were truly a treat for the taste buds. Each bite showcased authentic Pakistani flavors, and it was evident that great care had been taken in their preparation. The portions were generous, ensuring excellent value for money and leaving everyone at the table satisfied. I would particularly recommend trying their karahi, platter, and Kashmiri tea, which were all standout items. The karahi was rich and flavorful, the platter offered a delightful variety, and the Kashmiri tea provided the perfect ending to the meal. Laree Adda is a fantastic choice for anyone craving delicious and authentic Pakistani cuisine. I highly recommend this restaurant and look forward to returning soon!
Absolutely amazing experience at Laree Adda! The food is made fresh to order, so it’s worth planning to eat accordingly. We had the Charsi Chicken Karahi and Chicken Tikka Masala, and both dishes were packed with authentic flavors. The friendly service added to the experience. The staff took the time to address all of our concerns about allergies, which we really appreciated. The mint drink was amazing ! The chai was perfect !!! A pleasant surprise: the bathrooms are spotless! This may not seem like a big deal, but for a Pakistani restaurant, it’s a huge plus. As visitors from Dallas, we felt right at home, and we highly recommend Laree Adda to anyone, especially families. It’s a must visit!
Very disappointed with the mughal nashta called halwa purdi the potato gravy is no more gravy its potatoes with spice water tastes 0 out of 10 channa was cold and the sweet halwa cooked very bad. When I complained to the staff they say that's how we make, bad management worst cheff and bad taste. Please don't go to this place for mughal nashta specially if you're halwa purdi or asian food lover.
Laree Adda ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️truly goes above and beyond in making their customers feel happy.Food is absolutely delicious, authentic flavors never lets us down .They made a Sorry on a plate from my husband such a sweet and thoughtful touch!A small gesture made my day. The staff was incredibly attentive,I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending Laree Adda to everyone. Thank you for making our visit so special❤️
We dropped by Laree Adda in the late afternoon for lunch on a weekend. The place was moderately full but with a few open tables. The ambiance is welcoming, with an interesting mix of pictures on the walls. The section on Indian and Pakistani cricketers caught my eye and made me nostalgic. We ordered the Chicken soup, Chicken Tikka Masala, Seekh Kebab, and a bunch of breads, including Keema Naan, Plain Naan, and Khamiri Roti. The Chicken soup was probably the best thing we had (had a spicy kick to it) but beyond that, the other dishes were average. Nothing stood out in terms of flavor or the presentation. We were excited about the experience but it didn't wow us, unfortunately. A bunch of dishes on the menu (the Grill and the Wok sections in particular) were unavailable during lunch time and only available after 4 pm. The service is decent but you could see that they are running lean, and the staff is feeling a bit stretched. You pick up the menu from the counter, place the order there, the food is served at the table, and you pay at the counter. All in all, the experience was a bit disappointing. Perhaps we didn't pick the right dishes. It is likely worth a visit, but avoid the dishes we had (except the soup) and explore other things on the menu.
Was looking for a good desi brunch spot and we luckily ended up here. Great food and great service. We really enjoyed the Lahori chole, achari aloo, and plain paratha. We were expecting bun kabobs when we ordered the sliders, but they were definitely not bun kabobs, too mayo-y. 10/10 would come back again and recommend. Chai was perfect! Food came out pretty quick too!
