Part of the Nando's restaurant chain, this store offers halal chicken meat (as do many Nando's restaurants) for its famous Peri-Peri chicken dishes.
A halal sign is clearly visible on the premises. All food at this restaurant is certified halal.
Score reflects a halal certificate on file, with an active issue report under review.
stunned machine cut chicken, would not advise to muslims. nice chips though
Visited several times..very good food.
Hi all, Alcohol and Halal should not mix, unsuitable for muslims. Too many drunks, I am sorry to say that, we cannot compromise our way of life for secular values. It is haram to do that!
Please brothers and sisters in Islam, It will be very, very wrong to say that Nandos (UK) restaurants are certified halal when Nandos main suppliers of chickens are Freemans. I went to Halal conference at ICC (Islamic Cultural Centre & London Mosque) which is known as to everyone as Regent Park Mosque in London. I found out that Freemans the main suppliers of Nandos are unreliable and not halal at all. Please check with Dr Teinaz of ICC, the Health Advisor and the Halal committee of ICC. Please write to and check with Dr Yunes Teinaz PhD, the Health Advisor of ICC. The Islamic Cultural Centre, London Central Mosque, 146 Park Road, Regent Park, London NW8 7RG, England, United Kingdom. Also please check ICC website which is WWW.ICCSERVICES.ORG.UK
I am aware that this particular shop allows the consuming of alcohol on site. Would it be ok to mix halal with haram i ask?
We ve been visiting nandos for years, excellent halaal food, relaxed attmostphere and children are made very welcome.
Some Nando franchises are halal, I only know of Dalston and Bethnal Green. The food is good, the experience is better if you are looking for something with good family values.
Portugese restaurant. Hot and spicy if desired. Peri peri chicken, etc. Very delicious.
The chicken was honestly really good, no complaints there. But the cutlery wasn’t clean & the plates still had tiny soap droplets on them, which was a bit disappointing. I had to make sure they are clean before eating. It could be a huge issue, but a little more attention to cleanliness would make the experience much nicer for customers visiting Nando’s. All the best!
