Authorized halal by an Islamic organization.. KFC is running a halal trial a small number of stores in the London area, having worked with the Halal Food Authority (HFA) to understand the requirements involved in supplying and producing halal approved products. HFA has certified KFC's products in these stores, and the store environments, as halal. KFC has also ensured that the halal certified chicken would also meet the rigorous animal welfare standards employed in the UK, and has consulted leading animal welfare groups about this. KFC insists that all poultry is stunned before slaughter. HFA allows the use of a technique called 'stun-to-stun' - a pain free process that makes the animal insensible to pain and suffering. A verse is also recited from the Koran at the point of slaughter by an appropriate person and the poultry will not come into contact with non-halal meat at any point in the supply chain. KFC only buys high quality, Grade A, farm-assured chicken from trustworthy suppliers, and this will not change.

When you rate here then rate the food not your opinion. KFC is making an effort to sell Halal an serve muslims which is good for us. Let me ask the previous reviewers if they have actually gone to slaughter houses to see which shop or certification authority is actually Halal. Btw Food and service was both good as any other KFC.

Brothers and sisters in Islam, this is very important that any shop or retailer who sells pigs meat withsome Halal products then it's far from reality to say they are halal as cross contamination is likely possible, so be very carefull.

I had it twice but when learnt that it is been authorised Halal by HFA :- http://www.halalfoodauthority.co.uk/ i had to stop eating it. please remember that the meat you buy and the correct certification is by HMC :- http://www.halalmc.co.uk/ . so if any meat or poultry product is not by HMC then it is not Halal. please brothers and sisters compare the 2 Halal organisations before you buy your meat or poultry. i my self prefer HMC because there is no doubt with their certification. 1. HMC :- http://www.halalmc.co.uk/ (HMC is true Halal) 2. HFA :- http://www.halalfoodauthority.co.uk/ (HFA is doubted. So not Halal)
