RB Halal Food Centre. 126 Upper Tooting Rd, London SW17 7EN Tel - 0208 767 1103 RB has grown in popularity over the years. I found all the staff at RB to be polite and informative and very friendly. I notice some reviews are saying RB's customer service was rather poor. I just cannot agree with this because I have been shopping there for over a decade and have never found the staff to be ignorant or rude but at times they may be very very busy and can't find the time to give best possible service. In this Google review, I have provided 50 pictures. These will give you a good understanding of how RH is set up and their quality and varieties of items they sell. We have shopped here for over a decade and found their HMC meat to be a good quality and the fresh produce is also fine. There is a wonderful set of different meats from chicken, lamb, mutton, and beef. RB's friendly butchers will cut your meat to your specification and this is very helpful. As you can see from the pictures, just like many other stores of this type, RB has managed to cramp in a huge amount of items in a very small area and yet allowing its customers to walk freely through the aisles giving them an easy opportunity to browse before they choose what they want to buy. But at busy times, it isca different story. Without a doubt, RB now has a collection of a wonderful and varied set of general Asian vegetables and fruit along with a significant amount of spices and a good collection of meats. In my pictures, I have tried to show the various items on offer. Unfortunately, there's no way that I can write about every single type of item RB has on offer because there is simply not enough space to write. There can be no argument that RB now has almost every possible item that an average Asian household may wish to have regarding food and drink items. They don't offer too many varieties of coffee but when it comes to tea, it has a significant variety that will take you a good half an a to look through. In its freezers, you will find almost every type of item you may wish to purchase for an Asian household. Its collection of boxed spices will take you half an hour to look through. For example, you will find spices for every kind of rice dish you can think off, whether it is a savoury dish or a sweet dish. The variety of fruit is so large that you could eat a different fruit for two months and still not be finished. And the same can be said for its variety of vegetables. But ,this is not an Aldi or Lidl. There are wonderful varieties of atta to make every conceivable chapati or paratha. You will also find numerous varieties of rice. Again you could cook every type of rice dish imaginable from the rice that is available at this store. At the back of the shop, there is an opportunity to bring your car and collect heavy items. Often, the manager will allocate a person to carry heavy things to our car, even if it is across the road. As customer, what else could we demand from this type of store.
