GoogleI had a very horrible and uncomfortable experience at this Sainsbury’s. I would strongly recommend using the nearby Nine Elms store or Tesco instead. Whilst I was shopping, a staff member and a security guard kept closely following me around the store, which made me feel awkward as I was clearly holding the items in my hand. Even during checkout the staff member stood very close behind me and continued watching me. After I paid for my items and left the store, the security guard ran outside and questioned me in the middle of the road about whether I had paid. This was embarrassing and unnecessary, especially as I had just scanned and paid for the items and had my receipt. He could’ve just asked me for my receipt and checked my bag in the store, and i wouldn’t have an issue but stopping me in the MIDDLE of the road is completely inappropriate. I understand stores need to prevent theft, but the way this situation was handled felt inappropriate and uncomfortable. I hope the store reviews how their staff members approach customers in situations like this
