Au Marahja du Stade

Stayed at Novotel Stade de France (station la plaine stade de France on rer b literally with stadium on our doorstep bit like wembley stadium but this is zone2) stayed at hotel for the weekend n found this on zabibah n it was literally round the corner so went there. Come out of hotel turn right walk along 2nd right you see lights and next door was also a halal pizza place (pizza 10 euros medium n not great) anyway back to maharaja the Cheapest curry 8 euros n prob enough for 2 got take away but each roti or naan cost 1 euro each so cost about 14 euros which wasn't too bad but rotis more expensive then London currys too actually as some were listed as €12-17. Owners Pakistani got chatting to him

Yarsin was a fantastic host for our dinner. He encouraged us inside, made us feel very welcome. Then advised on the best food for our tastes. He got everything spot on for the 5 of us. The samosas were delicious, definitely the best we have had anywhere. I had butter chicken, no heat but plenty of flavour. 2 of us had the chicken tikka masala, again a little heat and very delicious. Youngest had nice quality chicken nuggets and chips. Final person chose chicken balti, more heat and lots of flavour. Sides of naan bread and rice also lovely. I tried Lassi for the first time too, absolutely fantastic! The service was first rate from Yarsin (apologies if I have misspelt his name 🙈), lovely with our girls and nothing too much trouble. Food arrived promptly and piping hot and kept that way with heaters on the table. Thoroughly recommend this fantastic restaurant and the quality for excellent value for money as well.
