I recently dined at Maharani. The food itself was okay — not bad, not particularly memorable. Unfortunately, the service really overshadowed the meal. Staff interactions felt rushed and, at times, outright rude. It was difficult to get attention, and basic requests seemed to be met with annoyance. Dining out is as much about hospitality as it is about taste, and this experience missed that mark. With so many welcoming options in Lille, I wouldn’t choose to return.
