Very Sadly but some business owners for sake of making few extra $$, keep playing with the faith of those those, who do care about eating only Halal. They will keep manipulating Halal vs. Zabiha distinction. Respectfully, If you being a customer truly care about Halal, please inquire if its Zabiha instead of only asking about if its Halal? I hope you all know the difference between Halal vs. Zabiha. May Allah swt guide us to stay steadfast and follow what\'s true (Aameen).
My ex-husband introduced me to Black Seed almost 8 years ago now and I absolutely love it. Whenever I'm in the area I have to make a stop in and grab something new each time. I have recommended Black Seed to everyone I know
Decent food and also open till late which is quite handy coz a few places in the city are open during office hours only I called ahead and was told on the phone the food is all halal and there is a halal sign in the window While eating I saw they had a breakfast menu that listed ham. I didn't see a disclaimer to say it's fake ham or anything like that. I wanted to ask the cashier if it was pork but I confess I was a bit embarrassed as I had already eaten. I would clarify with them next time maybe it isn't pork
I used to come here when I have my weekly class at the building behind this place. My usual order would be the Teriyaki Chicken hot wraps and I could say it was delicious and the service was fast. Not to mention it\'s strategic location near the Park Street T. Because of it\'s strategic location, the place is always full but if you could not find a place to sit, there\'s always the option of picnic-ing at Boston Common, which is just across the street.
Great food with reasonable price. Really enjoyed it. Might be better to take the T next time since parking can be pretty expensive.
Very nice muslim friendly staff. Souvlaki (sp?) is fantastic! I love that special. The burgers are pretty darn good as well, kids love it. Love going there and its proximity to the Boston Common. Great time taking out-of-towners to visit downtown, take in the park, and grab some great halal grub.
We come here all the time. I\'ve personally met Ibrahim, the owner - Super nice brother mashallah. I also catered with them for an iftar this past Ramadan. He was very nice about pricing, and delivered the food as well. Everybody in Boston loves their food - gotta try it if you\'re passing through.
Ask for the special daily dish offered by Mr Ibraheem in Ramadan
Very nice Very delicious food Very welcome
I went there twice and it's a fast food joint that satisfies your hunger. There are signs saying halal and I did not see them sell alcohol, which sorts the serious Muslims from the rest.
This restaurant does not sell halal food ..the worker who was worked there told me about that 100%is not halal.. They should be honest with that because as you know Islam does not allow to us to eat not halal food..thanx
Tried the burger . It was delicious. Staff were friendly and courteous.
Just went here today for brunch. The workers confirmed everything is halal (the last time I went here, which was a while ago, some things weren't halal, although never pork). We had a Western omelet (with halal ham!), a french toast special, and some type of beef rollup (can't remember now). Everything was good. Although we didn't get it this time, I can't recommend their kunafah enough.
Had a chicken kabob wrap and a buffalo chicken wrap, both were a generous portion and delicious...highly recommended!
Best salad and chicken kabab. Located right on park street stop . Nice friendly people , they opened a new branch in Medford in meadow gelnn mall.
I tried the double beef burger and the chicken shawarma. Both are really tasty as well the fries.
I tried their chicken shawarma platter and it was okay. The flavor of mayonnaise was overpowering other flavors. The Chicken was cooked well. The portion size is huge and the price is very reasonable. The gentleman at the counter was very warm and welcoming. I will certainly be back to try other items on their menu. Parking could be a challenge here.
Seriously, this place is a hidden gem. Best in Boston, for sure and such a perfect location, there have been so many times I'm nearby and grateful to be able to stop in. Everything here is amazing, everything, including the people working.
Good Halal restaurant with many options. We tries the lamb, chicken and chicken burgers and all were great. The fries tasted fresh and crispy. Very convenient location.
I had a terrible experience at this burger place. The cashier was unbelievably rude and seemed outright angry the entire time. From the moment I approached the counter, it felt like I was inconveniencing them just by being there. They were short with me, rolled their eyes when I asked a question about the menu, and didn’t even bother to say thank you after I placed my order. The attitude was so bad it ruined the entire visit, and honestly, it’s enough to make me not want to come back. If customer service matters to you, I’d suggest going somewhere else.
Nice arabic restaurant! Cheap but good food! Not as authentic as in the middle east but considering the place and the price its good! I ordered kunafa, one thing its like a cream inside not the ones in the middle east but they still manage to make it taste very good!
I was here on May 9 and 10. It was undoubtedly one of the best food places I've ever visited. I had tuna with rice and cheesecake on the first day, and special shawarma (the one with fries) on second day. The cheesecake was probably the best in my life. The texture is just perfect. Tuna was also cooked to the perfection: soft, not dry and great spices. If I will be in Boston one more time, I would definitely visit that place again.
Good halal options. Grill lamb rice is tasty. The salad portion is great. Fries are delicious . They have limited options for sauces, and the quantity of sauces is small. The double lamb burger was just okay. Platter and kebab are good options to eat, it comes with pita bread and the quantity of fries is great.
