Tasty and reasonably priced food with friendly service.
Stopped by while passing through the area as it was convenient and close to Hwy 80. Had tandoori chicken and chicken kabob. The food was OK, except for the naan, which was hard and somewhat burnt. Customer service is lacking at this joint. It took close to 40 minutes from order time to prepare two dishes. Then they missed an item that I ordered and when asked was told they don't have it and I wasn't charged. Also, the place was freezing...looks like they don't turn on the heat. Maybe that's why for the 1+hr I was there, no one dined in, all were carry outs. I believe this place has potential but needs some improvements.
nice place they have good halal food there and plenty of parking is a plus
This place has nice tandoori dishes, biryanis, and naan. The saalan (curry) dishes are ok. In addition to eating there we have called in orders a couple of times, but the food has not been ready when we were told it would be. I mean if you are going to tell me 20 minutes, and I show up 20 minutes later, you can't tell me to wait 20 minutes more. The food is good enough, but the best part is having a place to eat relatively close to Masjid Al-Rahman in Richmond.
Bismillah is a combination of Pakistani and Indian Cuisine. This is my 4th time eating here, first time, I ate Lamp Chop - spiced and well barbecued. Today I ate something different on the menu; its number 31 - Palak Paneer (Vegetarian dish) and number 36 - Goat Karahi, but I substituted the goat for lamb instead and told him to add a ton of spice, enough to get me sweating, which he did superbly, I loved it. The food is great, the taste is lovely, and the price is even better, see my receipt. However, don't be thrown off with the disposable plates that you will be served with, instead focus on the taste and the flexibility for you to customize your dish (The Chai Tea is hot and Free). Visit and tell us your story.
This place is amazing. I've tried sahi paneer and it's the best place to have sahi paneer. I visit this place frequently to have sahi paneer now and garlic Naam. Must visit. Friendly staff. Takeaway option is available. They also give mint chatney which is also good.
The food smell like rotten the bread it’s all maybe like two days or three And the customer service is very bad
Stopped by here for my wife’s birthday because we’ve been here before and it was super delicious but I guess when you get takeout you just never know. We ordered the chicken tiki masala which was good but hardly had any meat & it didn’t even come with rice soo we got home and we had to make rice. It would’ve been nice if they would’ve told us anyways, the garlic naan was doughy don’t even know if they cooked it all the way. When we dined in the last time, it was super delicious. I don’t know what happened on the take out. We spent over $40 bucks at least throw in some rice. I am still kinda upset because it was her only request for her birthday. ?
Bismilah is one of my favorite restaurants the garlic naan is soo good fluffy the food has great seasoning and they are super fast with the food everything is fresh
Support local, family owned businesses! This is a place we frequented for ten years. It hits home for us. It's ala carte where you order each dish individually, family style or can order a dish. Our go to’s are: mixed veggies (order without spicy unless you like that “thai” spiciness level, chicken tiki masala, 2 orders of rice, 2 garlic naan. Discount if you pay with cash. Dine in or order to go.
Service was awesome. Food was good, overall good experience.
One of the finest Pakistani restaurant in the Bay area. We need to wait for some time to get served but the wait is worth it, as the food is super delicious.
