Z Kabob

I used to enjoy this place as a quick bit to eat. The food quality is average but it would satisfy the noon day lunch cravings but my daughter grabbed a quick bit just recently on her way to school and a live roach crawled out. She asked me to meet her at the store to speak to the owner/ manager. When I tried very discreetly to address the issue I was met with a very rude and indigent reaction; I returned the behavior, very reluctantly received a refund and advised the patrons on site about the experience. I would stay away from this place.

I've been to this place many times. The food quality is average. I tried many meals from this place. One time I ordered goat briyani ; it tasted old and rewarmed. The cashier person is not friendly at all. One time, my wife called to place an order ; he answered the phone "I am busy now I've customers " and he hung up on her!

I went to this place 2-3 times and disappointed by food quality each time. Cleanliness and food taste were below average. Would not recommend it.

Food is average. This place changed ownership and had a name change in the last year and a half. And it was never that great to begin with. They seem to be out of items a lot. I give it 3 stars because the service was friendly. I can't recommend at this time.

Ordered through Grubhub. Got chicken and seekh kebabs with chana masala, rice, and naan. The chana masala was bland and basically flavorless. The chicken was undercooked with a weird texture. The naan was a good chewy texture.

Ordered the sheesh kaboob and samosas. They forgot the salad, but I don’t mind it this time. The taste was unbelievably good. The chickpeas are amazing and the beef superior. The place looks typical, but the food is amazingly good. Highly recommend the #5 and chicken samosa. Idkn about them rest of the menu.

I recently visited Z Kebab, drawn in by their tempting advertisement for biryani on a flex board. However, my experience was a major letdown. Instead of the aromatic and flavorful biryani I expected, I was served plain white rice mixed with lamb salan, a far cry from the authentic dish. The lack of spices and flavors was disappointing, and to top it off, the dish was drenched in oil. It felt like an insult to the rich tradition of biryani. I wish I had checked reviews beforehand, which would have saved me the $25 I spent on this subpar meal. I ate it because I don't believe in wasting food, but I won't be returning for their biryani again.

I’ve been coming to Z kabob several times with my family. Their food is delicious but service not so great but I’ve ignored bad service because we enjoyed the food they serve. I typically get the lamb shank meal and it hasn’t disappointed me yet. The service that I received today however will probably not make me return back. As I placed an order online for carry-out, I approach the counter and gave my order information and the lady at the counter proceeded with finalizing my order by grabbing a mango lassi and 2 chicken samosas from the counter oven. As she proceeded to put the samosas in the paper bag, I notice one drops behind the counter. I waited to see if she was planning to ask me if I wanted to wait for another one to be cooked or replace it with an available veggie samosas instead, however she didn’t suggest either and continued to bag my order. Typically I would just go about my business and throw the item away but as I was checking my order before I left, I ask her “did you put the samosas in the bag that dropped on the floor?” Of course she denied it, and I just told her, if you did, be honest about it and I’ll be happy to take the veggie one to replace the fallen one. She proceeded to deny it falling on the floor and tells me it “fell on the plate”. If there is a plate on the floor at the bottom of the counter….sure….but I just left it alone and was planning to toss the item anyways. Then something must of triggered her and she decided to fix the matter by replacing it with 2 new samosas as I returned the other. All and all to my story, I know we as consumers take a risk when dining out however the audacity of her denying something when I clearly watched her blows my mind and question the cleanliness and food handling of the place. Which concludes the determination to not return back.

I recommend delivery/takeout for Z-kebab. Food was well prepared and served hot. I don't recommend eating there. Besides less than friendly customer service, loud, bad news played on the TV on repeat and an alarm/buzzer went off for a long time before anyone turned it off. The place wasn't busy, but it was noisy, and not conducive to a relaxing meal.

Highly recommend this Kabob Place. I always get the wraps and burritos. The price is great for the amount of food you get. Taste so good!

I like to support small businesses and would rather dine at a non chain establishment. I was disappointed in the falafel wrap as it should be called a lettuce wrap. Because the teaspoon serving of falafel wasn't worth $8.99. Also, as the receipt shows the falafel was to come with rice and chic peas, this is not the case. My wife had the chicken kabob plater and was delighted with her meal. Hopefully, the serving portions will match the price in the near future. The staff should spend more time cleaning and wiping off the tables, chairs, condiments, and sweeping.

I’m obsessed with the Chana Masala (chickpeas) from here, it’s soo good & flavorful! I get the boneless chicken and the chicken has lots of flavor and a good kick of spice! This is definitely one of my favorite Kabobs.
