Staff has given verbal assurance of halal status.. According to the staff, only the lamb and goat are halal.

Great lamb kebabs! Juicy and tasty!
I had been here a couple times before not knowing if it was halal, and their vegetarian and seafood dishes were fresh, flavorful, and overall delicious. When I finally asked if they served halal meat, the waiter said the lamb and goat were halal, so I ordered the lamb tikka masala. The lamb chunks were a bit chewy but tasted very good, and the masala was packed with flavor. The dining room is very small, and the tables are a bit too close together. I saw some statues of Hindu gods and the Buddha, which may make some people uncomfortable (along with the fact that alcohol is served here). Besides the ambiance, the food was worth it, and I would especially recommend the all-you-can-eat lunch buffet (no halal meat, but it does have lots of vegetarian dishes and usually one shrimp dish).
Truly delicious Matar Paneer - just the right spiciness! Naan was well done, just the right amount of seasoning and butter. Generous portions and the meal comes with rice. Our server was friendly and attentive. Affordable prices for the area.
Surprised by the low rating! The food is very tasty, and the staff was friendly. Plus, they’re open late, which is a big plus. I’ll definitely be coming back often!
The kebab factory is located along Washington street somerville and it boast some of the best Indian cuisine in the area . I enjoyed my time here and food was tasty . I recommend the chicken biryani,Alo gobi and the butter chicken. There is no parking lot on this restautant but there are metered parking just across from the restaurant.
Food was AMAZING. Very flavorfull and fresh. Staff and owner were super kind and thoughtful with all requests. Came mid day and for some reason it was empty. Been coming for years and it never dissapoints. Very reasonably priced as well.
Update: The place changed ownership and the food is amazing. Dined for their Buffet on sunday. Its 15.99++. The food tastes really really good. There is variety of items and the behavior of employees are also good. I would disregard all the bad review. I am not paid and was pleasantly surprised after dined. Nov 2021: Their food was good but I would say that the price was a bit on the upper side. The buffet runs on Friday, Saturday and Sunday only. And it's $17.95. Don't get fooled by the old reviews! The items were I would say limited but they were tasty.
Buffet $17 Fri, Sat, Sun Includes mutton, creamy paneer, chicken, puri, chana and few other dishes. Food was 5 star. Could have been a little more clean like tables etc. But overall good stuff.
Updated: This restaurant is amazing! I went here for buffet, and they brought the dishes to the table as the regular style buffet is closed due to covid guidelines, so you might want to tell them beforehand about any dietary restrictions if you go for buffet. The food was so tasty, they had prepared each item fresh. The quality, quantity and the price, I am a fan! If you want to know what real North Indian food tastes like, this is a must try restaurant! Update: I am sad to write this update, but I went in with my friends for lunch buffet and we were all disappointed. The buffet is now usual style buffet, that’s okay, but the quality and the variety of the food has dropped significantly. The naans that were once amazing were this time like thick breads and not naans. And paani puri filling they had on the table was stale and stinking. And the paani puri “paani” was just a giant ice block that was thawing and had no flavour. I would usually give them benefit of the doubt, but these many issues cannot be overlooked.
I went twice in a month. For dinner and buffet. Everything was delicious. I was laid down by reviews but Don’t worry about these, maybe they renewed menu. Buffet has so much variety in 17$
