About Dishoom
Dishoom draws heavily from the heritage and tradition of the old Bombay Cafs. Welcoming people from morning until night, serving tasty breakfasts, quick bite. It's modelled on the Irani cafs found in the heart of Bombay and it's named after the sound effect used in Bollywood films to make punching in fight scenes more dramatic.

I went here for a work colleagues leaving dinner and was very impressed as the brief was to find a halal trendy place. Boy did they excel and exceed expectations. The ambiance is phenomenal, the attention to detail of the decor and the menu (very different to the more Authentic east London Curry Houses but) was outstanding. For drinks we had a range of quirky twists on classics like Rose Lassi and Thumsup Floats. For mains we had a selection of exotic grilled meats with naan and dhal all very good. They also had a Lamb Raan I had not tried before, not spicy enough for me but the others loved it. I cant wait to take the wife there for a special night out.
