Halal food, hygiene, friendly staff, reasonable pricing, unexaggerated decor briefly everything is A+ Not just a "Turkish Restaurant". Mix grill plate 95$ ( enough for 4-5 person easy) is must try. Meat quality and taste is WAY better than 300$ steak plate on a brand steakhouse. I hope they will keep this same way.
Quality Food. authentic turkish. kebabs could be seasoned a little more. portions could be larger for the price. Great Manti (9/10). Great lamb and eggplant dish (10/10). kebabs 7/10.
Have been missing my time in Turkey lately and found this restaurant by chance while in the area. The food was as good as (if not better) than the best food I had in Turkey in 2022! I couldn’t believe how delicious everything was and how kind our waitress was.. beyond the food being delicious, the Turkish hospitality truly differentiates the dining experience beyond going to any other restaurant in the area. We were served a delicious appetizer and a spiced tea like drink, as well as desert and Turkish tea after our meal. What a gift for the Philly area to have such an authentic, delicious, kind, and hospitable restaurant in the area. I had such a wonderful relaxing lunch with a dear friend that we will truly always remember (I should also say my ancestors are from Turkey and so it was especially meaningful to enjoy this food). I can’t wait to go back.
I had high expectations after reading the reviews of this place, but my experience today was disappointing. Although the weather wasn’t too cold for winter, the restaurant itself was freezing—they didn’t even have the heat on. The atmosphere during winter is far from welcoming. We ordered two items: an Adana wrap and an omelette. The omelette took forever to arrive; it honestly felt like they went to the store to buy eggs and forgot about us. When my Adana wrap finally came, it was cold—not exactly what you expect when dining in. Eating a cold dish in a freezing restaurant was far from enjoyable. Honestly, I could’ve made better food at home without wasting my money. I’m not surprised this place always seems empty.
I had the pleasure of dining here on a work trip, and it’s some of the best Turkish food I’ve had in the US. I’m not huge on writing reviews unless something stands out to me, so take that as you will. The food is fresh, thoughtfully plated, and chef Fatih’s warmth and hospitality made my evening. I had the lentil soup and kasap köfte followed by some perfectly textured baklava and fresh Turkish tea. Go if you’re in the neighborhood or even take a longer trip and go out of your way — you will not be disappointed.
Foods & service was amazing! The place is very cozy and warm. You would think it's small from the outside but as you go further in there's big space for a large party.
Authentic Turkish hospitality and flavor. I had the opportunity to visit the country this year, and the offerings at Isot more than measured up to some of the best dishes I tried during my trip. In fact, I came to this place because a Turkish friend recommended it. I will be back to try their brunch menu!
Bugra was an amazing staff. He was very attentive, he made our couples dinner date experience amazing! The chef gave us a free appetizer sampler, the food was amazing and fresh, and on top of that they even treat us to some free wine! We will definitely come back and we want to recommend to all to come! Yummyyyyy
Probably the best food I’ve had in a while. We stopped for quick bite and got the mixed meze and manti, they were delicious! I can’t wait to come back for entrees. The staff were 10/10 and so genuinely pleasant. Wonderful atmosphere. I will be back again soon!
The ambience and service were lovely. Such a gracious (and very handsome) waiter. The food was crazy good. My first time eating Turkish food and I was thrilled. Other patrons were Turkish and they were friendly and eager to make our experience even better. The Chef came to our table which I always think is a nice touch. Next time I’m in Philly I’m headed back here. Thanks for a great experience.
