Authorized halal by an Islamic organization.. Halal chicken approved by Krispy Krunchy and is available for franchisees. Halal franchisees use chickens that are certified by the Islamic Society of the Washington Area, who confirms that 'all poultry are mechanical slaughter with actual muslims on site reciting the tasmiah (bismillah Allahu akbar) during the slaughter process'.
We feature an all Halal menu: Cajun-style chicken (bone-in and tenders), Original and Cajun Sweet & Sour Wings; Krispy Shrimp and Fish, and much more!

I love Krispy Krunchy Chicken. They are so much better than other fried chickens. The honey butter biscuits melt in your mouth. The Cajun tenders are spiced perfectly with little bit of heat. My whole family loves the fried chicken, even my kids who are super picky eater, enjoyed them. Love their customer service too.
There are significant doubts about Krispy Krunchy's Halal status. ISWA, states that they don't certify restaurants, only slaughtering plants & manufacturers. ISWA cautions that in order to remain halal status, the product must not be cross contaminated. As of now, only the uncooked chicken breast tenderloins from an undisclosed plant is certified, not the finished product which are sold at the restaurants. Krispy Krunchy sells non-halal products. Customers should demand that Krispy Krunchy refrain from using or claiming the sale of Halal products, or get proper certification. Ask yourself, if a few bucks or a chicken leg is really worth sacrificing any time in Jannah.
This food was excellent! Top 3 Fried chickens I\'ve had ever! I got a family platter that had fried chicken, chicken tenders, honey buttered biscuits, and fries. The fries were top notch. The fried chicken had very nice seasoning and a bread-like breading (rather than flour-like). The tenders had more of a flour-like breading (like traditional fried chicken). The honey buttered biscuits were good but got soggy very quickly. And it was extremely cheap! Only gripe is the restaurant looks very run down. Very nice people, but everything was broken and beat up.
Combination of fast-cheap-good food. Tried chicken wrap and fried chicken - both were good.
Delicious food at an affordable price
Moved recently to Dallas area, and this has become a go to place. The food is really good. Not the traditional fast food type quality.
Wonderful restaurant, good halal alternative to Kfc ...1 issue I have is with hygiene(
I just came from Orlando to visit family and I decided to take every one out to dinner. So naturally I pulled up Zabihah.com to see what was good in the area. I saw that Krispy Krunchy Chicken was trending on the main page and decided we should give it a try. I have to say this is one of the best chicken joints I have been to in a while. I ordered the family combo it comes with chicken, tenders, fries, and biscuits. It was about 18 pieces of chicken total and it easily fed my family of 5 with some food leftover as well. We did also order there chicken sandwiches which were amazing highly recommended. All in all i really enjoyed the meal, staff was friendly they gave us some complimentary cookies for the kids which were unexpectedly amazing. Definitely better then any halal fried chicken ive ever had. Definitely coming back next time im in time.
Good food, clean restaurant, friendly staff, reasonable prices.
As a recent convert to the religion of Islam I have been craving a great place for halal fried chicken, and I have found the best one. Krispy Krunchy Chicken is a great halal restaurant it is family run which really does make the quality of the chicken all the better. The people that are there really do care about the food they are making. The food was 1000% better than what I had expected coming in. It was all Cajun style so it filled the spice need as well without going overboard. The food was prepared in a very timely manner as well, like mentioned in a previous review here other halal fried chicken restaurants take so long to make the food. I am definitely coming back tonight as well. The tender and biscuits are just out of this world especially with the original dipping sauce. Looking forward to trying everything on the menu.
I get wings for football games and the rest of the food is great too. Haven't tried any seafood yet but I don't know if I ever will given how good the chicken is. Owners take care of their customers. Would love to see their wing flavors expand.
Clean place, Fast Service, excellent zabihah food! Truly a fast food restaurant because the food was already prepared and ready for the customers. It opened just a week ago and is owned and run by a Pakistani family. Restaurant is clean, spacious, and has a soda fountain machine just like what you find in any fast food place. They are new so order and delivery wasn't streamlined... many people were doing many things at the same time. But the food was yum so it up for it. We tried chicken wings, chicken burger and fried chicken pieces. Everything was delicious, well cooked and finger licking good and had perfect blend of seasonings and much less salt than some of the other places nearby that we've been to. Will definitely return.
Let\'s cut to the chase, 5 star, everything is on point but the fries which is not a deal breaker. This place has delicious crispy tenders, mixed fried chicken, wings (sweet and sour and original), biscuits. This is now our go to Fried Chicken joint.
I can attest to the review below. This place is legit. It\'s owned by a pakistani family who assured me everything was zabihah. I ordered 8 piece mix chicken and 8 piece cajun tenders. The tenders were AMAZING. They have a nice kick to it. The mix chicken was breaded well and was flavorful. Prices are somewhat steep but are comparable to the other zabihah fried chicken joints in the area. My only issue, which is small, was that they were a bit slow getting my food. Everything was already ready-made so I was expecting it somewhat right away, but the service is friendly and the food made up for it. It\'s finally nice to have a go-to place to get fried chicken without having to drive out 40 plus minutes.
Came through with a bunch of guys during lunch. They still didn't have the jambalaya and boudin yet but whatever they had was good. I really enjoyed the cajun fries and biscuit. The chicken was also really good but I prefer more spice because white meat can get really dry. The prices are on the steeper side compared to Church's or Popeye's but this is 100% Dhabihah so I will definitely be coming back.
The customer service is very good. Nice and friendly.! Food is cooked fast. The chicken and chicken tenders are amazing, excellent flavor.! The sides are also good, no Seasoning on any of the sides so if you are trying to stay away from salt then these sides are for you. They call it biscuits but to me it tastes like cornbread, and they are pretty good. Overall I'd say if your looking for something new, check this place out.
Delicious food. Better than KFC. Taste wise 10/10. I had the best zinger burger for the first time in last 11 years living in Dfw. Nice family place. My kids loved the fries, biscuits and chicken. Will recommend 100%. It was fresh, hot, juicy not oily and spices perfectly balanced. Keep up the good work. Will come back again inshallah.
Pure desi style Indian Pakistani restaurant. Quality of food is great and portion is enough. We had some leg, breast pieces and 2 sandwiches. We were done in half even and had to do to go with sandwiches. the place is not american style, which was fine for us. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for some Indian Pakistani style food and restaurant.
I recently dined at this halal fried chicken establishment and tried their zinger burger and fried chicken. It was a pleasant experience. The zinger burger had a good size and flavor. The fried chicken was well-cooked, with a crispy exterior and juicy interior. Portion sizes were ample, and the service was friendly. I will be returning for another meal.
A very nice young lady helped me! Customer service was 10/10. Chicken is fresh and just the right amount of spice. The jambalaya was very good too!
Krispy Krunchy Chicken is a fantastic spot for delicious fried chicken, and it's HALAL, which is a huge plus. The chicken is always freshly cooked to perfection, making each bite flavorful and crispy. I've been there a few times, and each visit has been consistently great. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, adding to the overall positive experience. Whether you're grabbing a quick meal or ordering for a group, you can expect high-quality food every time. I definitely plan to keep coming back for more, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for tasty, freshly prepared fried chicken in a friendly atmosphere!
You can’t go wrong at all, if you after some good fried juicy Chicken. ? So F-Awesome ?❤️. Good food, great customer service, affordable price. What els you’re looking for. Thanks guys for great customer service. ? would recommend ?????
We arrived on Sunday morning for some food. It wasn’t opened yet and opened about 8 minutes after the opening time. Went inside to place the order of 8 pc chicken dark and a zinger sandwich as well as 2 pc of fish that comes with a biscuit. The chicken was freshly fried but the other items needed to be prepared. We ate the chicken in the meantime and it was delicious and hot. The rest of the food took about 10 minutes to be done. We got notice using the buzzer while being asked to wait in the car for it due to Covid. The fish is delicious but I thought the pieces were small for the price. The biscuits are great too with the honey butter spread on it. The sandwich was good to me but my husband wished it had more heat. Overall it was a good experience.
