The owners are Muslim and have confirmed its halal status.. Halal chicken approved by Krispy Krunchy and is available for franchisees. Halal franchisees use chickens that are certified by the Islamic Society of the Washington Area, who confirms that 'all poultry are mechanical slaughter with actual muslims on site reciting the tasmiah (bismillah Allahu akbar) during the slaughter process'. The ISWA Halal Certification Department has reviewed four redacted halal certificates provided by Krispy Krunchy Foods and can confirm that those certificated we issued by ISWA to four separate facilities operated by a producer of chicken products with whom the ISWA Halal Certification Department has enjoyed a long-standing business relationship. Chicken products subject to these certificates were processed and produced by the facilities identified in the unredacted versions of the certificates in accordance with ISWA Halal Certification Department's protocols for halal certified products.

The food was fresh Zinger sandwich is the best ever The honey butter biscuits are something to not to miss
This place has one of the best fried chicken in town. I’ve been buying from them for a long time now. However this time it was different. Earlier I was served by South Indian guys who worked there, who were super friendly with the service and even made me familiar with the on going combos and discounts. And the portions used to be super reasonable considering the price. However a couple of weeks back I ordered 2 separate takeout combos at the store and a blue eyed lady took my order. She overcharged me and got my order completely wrong and there was very little portion of chicken inside. I wasn’t even given all the items that came in the combo. I even asked to make sure if she has given me everything and she agreed. Not to mention I was supposed to take it for a get together. Highly disappointed with the service this time. Going forward, will ask them to make the order right in front of me so they don’t mess up!
I took the 8 pieces chicken tender deal for 13.99. The overall taste was good, but little salty. The size of the tenders was smaller than other similar restaurants I tried before, that's why I took off 1 star from my rating. I think the overall prices in the menu are very low, considering the fact that this restaurant serves halal chicken. There is a small seating arrangement inside the restaurant for dine in. There is plenty of parking available too. I will definitely visit again and 100% recommended.
Checked locations around me, and this place popped up. Figured I would give it a try. It's a little tricky to get to right now because of road construction. It is also attached to a pizza place. So you have a variety of items to choose from. I was very surprised how good it was!I got a 2 piece chicken meal that comes with a side. The chicken had great flavor. Tried the jambalaya and red beans and rice. The jambalaya had more flavor, and the red beans and rice had some heat to it. I will be back if in the area again for sure. Definitely some of the best fried chicken I have had from a fast food place in a while.
Ordered a milk tea and 2 smoothies. Person taking our order said 10 min. At 10 min the milk tea came out. After 25 min we were ready to leave and asked for a partial refund for the smoothies. He said "2 more min." Seems to be the trend after hitting the reviews. The milk tea didn't taste right, but the kids didn't complain about their drinks. All-in-all 35 min for 3 drinks isn't right.
Stopped by Saturday for lunch and to bring food home. Friendly staff...excellent food...clean dining area. Note...thevfood was extremely fresh and tasted wonderful! We will continue to return to this location for the best chicken in the DFW area!
First time coming here. The guy working was very nice. Got chicken and fries instead . See reason below. Chicken was good. I wouldn't call it cajun flavored and def not spicy but it's well seasoned. Fries were good. Not even able to put my finger on what kind of seasoning they put on these Fries but it's good. The biscuit was very yum. I'd describe it as a cross between the soft texture of a kfc biscuit and flavor of a sweet churches biscuit. The 2pc combo they have for six dollars doesn't come with a biscuit or drink so you have to get that separately. The chocolate chunk cookie was good too. I'll def return here. Wanted to try their pizza today but didn't have time to wait. I placed my order and was told 15min wait but once I learned there was only one worker there placing AND making orders for this place AND krispy chicken next door (they're connected... no wall in between) I knew it would be longer than 15min because there were already a few orders before mine. I'll come back another day for the pizza but went and got chicken &Fries instead. Much quicker turn around time.
A day visit to Dallas couldn't be completed without going to KKC. Super nostalgic and great tasting food. Fresh made to order. I had zinger sandwich and 2 pc. Dark chicken pieces, and had much more packed for back home in Houston. The location at McArthur is the best. Best of luck to the owners. Keep up the good work.
This was my first time at this specific location and I am super upset with the way they served my food. It’s been probably cooking under the heat over hours and hours because it looks very old, super salty, and it wasn’t even KRISPY?! And let’s not even talk about the mashed potato, maybe they had it made since yesterday because the taste of it was all gone and was a bit darker than usual. Anyway I love Krispy kruncy chicken but definitely not at this location. I’ll stick to the one I usually go to. Please serve fresh food to your customers. Thanks.
