Couple days back we ordered food to go on the phone, and when we got there to pick it up, we were not greeted at all. We also ended up waiting a while for someone to finally give us our food. We had ordered chicken 65, chicken Karachi, nihari kabob, Naan, and biryani. This was our 5th time eating their food, and it will be our last. We were given old biryani which went bad the next day, plus it tasted bland and not good like it used to be. Now in less than 12 hours the biryani is rotten and in the trash. Me and my family will not return and I recommend for everyone to make sure that they are getting fresh food in the restaurant before taking their food home.
Recently visited this place for the first time and tried their lamb buryani which is really authentic Pakistani lamb biryani very very tasty awesome thumbs up with good quantity I havent tried other items on menu but on my next trip i will and i am sure they will be as good as biryani Keep it up the good quality I give 5 stars it worth it
The best food ever. You want good food go to this place. Excellent biryani ever.
Best Mutton Biryani, Hyderabadi Dum Biryani and Chicken Seekh Kababs ... I highly recommend
Very bad experience. Had a take out. Goat Karahi was a mixture of bones and tendons. No meat at all (not saying it metaphorically). Literally felt cheated and looked like an idiot at home. Chicken 65 was so bland and smelled bad that we threw it in trash. Beef kabab were edible, but there was a strange smell of dirty towel in them. Their nans were actually pretty good. But thats the best I can say about this place.
LOVED IT! The chicken briyani was sooo good and reasonably priced! Tastes absolutely homemade like when your fav auntie makes it. Also had the Mutton Curry which was delicious, not gamey at all, flavor through and through! Lastly was the chicken seekh kabob, the masala was great but it was dry. I wasn\'t even going to eat dinner but ordered for my family. I decided to try it and then went back for seconds despite not being hungry! Please note, the decor is terrible, going through a reno so hopefully will spruce up the place. Go for the food not the ambiance. They are Muslim Owners, yayy!
UPDATE 6/2015: This place is now called Deccan Grill. The food is impressive. The biryani and chicken 65 are fabulous. The owner's father is an amazing and very friendly person. You can also buy raw meat here. Biryani is really good here. Not sure if the ownership changed from when it was called 'Indian food and grocery' but the food is much better now. It's not really a restaurant but more like a cafe where you sit inside the grocery store.
Chicken 65 and Shami is REALLY GOOD. The Daal is awesome too. The place is not the best looking inside but the owners are changing it. Service was a bit slow compared to others but again they are new. But owners and staff were SUPER Friendly. However, once you eat their food, you will forget all that. We ended up ordering 8 different menu items from there. That\'s how much we loved it. Will definitely go back and recommend too.
Was visiting Dallas and happened to eat here and for my surprise the Biryani was exceptionally good, so was the service .If I ever visit Dallas again will definitely stop by for a quick Mutton Biryani and a chicken 65. For anyone who lived in Atlanta and familiar with Zyka restaurant, the Chicken 65 is comparable to them.
This was a pleasant surprise. Their Kababs and Biryani was fresh and delicious...Ended up taking a big to go order for my family....they loved it too.....not pricey at all and customer service was good....highly recommended...
I love their Biryani and Chicken 65. I would definitely recommend it. We gave them order of Goat for Eid ul-adha and the meat was very tender and good quality.
This is the place for the best hyderabadi mutton dum biryani and mutton haleem. Not that satisfied with the chicken tikka masala and naans. Service could be better.
One of the worst biryani I’ve had after coming US. Heard few good suggestions about this place but trust me the food is no where near to average. Simply pathetic service. I’ve ordered for special haleem and mutton biryani. I felt that they’ve been adding beef in the mutton biryani. I don’t recommend this place at all

Mutton Dum Biryani is good.

Found hair in my food no respect also I have not got my money back or any refund
Absolutely loved and probably the besttttttt place to try Hyderabadi Biryani in Irving! Tried biryanis at other restaurants around too but none beats the taste you get at this place. Have been around for just 2 weeks and almost been there 10 times just to have biryani. 100% recommend!
Ordered Haleem, chicken tikka masala, garlic naan and mutton biryani. Huge portions and food was good. Loved the garlic naan, very flavorful!
I’ve eaten at Deccan Grill multiple times, and the hydrabadi mutton biryani is always on point—flavorful and satisfying every single time. ?? There’s not much to talk about when it comes to ambiance, but if you’re here just for the taste, it’s totally worth it! ??
We ordered Chicken 65, and it was a disappointing experience. The dish was drenched in an excessive amount of red coloring, which is not only unappetizing but also completely unacceptable. It didn’t taste good, was overly oily, and left us very dissatisfied. Such heavy use of artificial color raises serious concerns. we are considering reporting this to the food safety authorities. This is not the quality we expect and definitely won’t be ordering again.
So I had ordered palak paneer and waited for 30 mins and then we just went and ask and they don’t have palak paneer and also they have rude behavior dealing with the customers. I don’t recommend anyone to have food over here.
We went their on a sunday afternoon, it was a bit crowded. They have two menus for today’s specials one on the big display and a hand written near the billing section. We odered haleem, chicken 65 and a mixed mandi. Haleem was fantastic and close to authentic recipe. Chicken 65 was good n crispy Mixed mandi was ok, we felt the chicken n mutton pieces were too big n the rice was oily at the end. They also had a dessert section inside the restaurant g Faloodas and chikoo shake were good enough
