Staff has given verbal assurance of halal status.. From the management: 'Some of the beef product served have halal certification, please consult the store for the different beef products with Halal Certification. All the chicken products are however fully halal certified, please do ask the store to provide this certification should you need to see one, the store will be able to show it to you.'

I would say something nice about this place, but after eating here it’s so difficult to. Food quality is poor to be generous. Staff are ok and seem to be frustrated that they had to work on a public holiday. The self serve ordering screens are no responsive and poorly designed and dirty. Presentation of food was decent. I will not be returning. If you decide to try, keep your expectations low for a better time.
Been here many times and we always love the food and the way that you need to “cook” your rice! Very unique and fun! The main reason only give 3 star is Saturday surcharge. Once upon time there was no weekend surcharge, it operated well. The price of the food has gone up while the amount of food has shrunken a bit which happens to a lot of places and the surcharge is just disgraceful. We will come back but will avoid weekends.
Pepper Lunch is a casual dining restaurant known for its sizzling hotplates that let diners cook their own meals right at the table. Founded in Japan, this unique dining concept has spread globally, offering a variety of dishes like steak, chicken, and seafood, paired with rice and flavorful sauces. The hotplates keep the food hot and fresh, making every bite enjoyable. It’s a great spot for those who love interactive dining experiences. But still have some problem. The price is expensive I just buy salmon with steak and half half and salad with two eggs it’s cost me 40$?but still yummy ?
The food was tasteless no flavour very generic and expensive. Improvements needed on the chicken side of things, I’m sure there are great authentic Japanese Chicken dishes that are far tasty.
Mashallah!??♥️ Halal!! 10/10 absolute superb and fantastic! Fresh, flavour bomb - speechless! Really is amazing. I spent only $22 including the pepper beef rice and drink (mint lemon) so tasty!! My friend ordered the salmon and steak with veggies !!
Loved my Scotch steak! ? melted cheese on my baked potato was cooked nicely, chips is how I love it - crispy ?. Will opt out of brown sauce next time, tasted like very watered down gravy?
Bad experience. The place was not clean, the service was unprofessional, and a waitress was lying to us. Happened on Tuesday 18th February. We came at 9 PM, ordered our food, then we go to the tables. But the tables inside the shop in the back have already been closed. Some tables are open outside on the back, so we went there, but the waitress told us it's reserved. Telling us to move to an uncomfortable table where I have to wiggle myself in among other customers. Then they start packing up the table. They were not reserved. It's still 9.10 and other customers who just came were told "only front tables" by them. They cleaned up the tables outside by 9.25 (see photo). And rush to clean our table with an unpleasant face. If it's already last order, then it made sense to do that. But this is very unpleasant. The waitresses seem lazy and try to rush to clean. And they lied to us too. Very bad service attitude. Waitresses were not wearing their name badges, too. Better introduce proper last order time. If it's 9 PM then be clear about it. Instead of rushing customers to go.
Quite enjoyed our meal here, which was simple but tasty. Best thing is the hot plate which cooks the food but best of all keeps it warm for a very long time. Great for slow eaters like myself. We had 2 dishes, both with the curry sauce and one with hamburger mince and the other with chicken. You pour the sauce on top after the meat is cooked.
