OMG, this place has the best platters. Their chicken and lamb/beef gyro has so much flavor, unlike other places. Their white sauce is on point, and the hot sauce is hot enough to enjoy the flavor without setting your mouth of fire. The customer service was excellent. I highly recommend this place. Its amazing why it doesn\'t have plethora of reviews. A big hit with everyone in my family. Also their waffle fries were crispy and seasoned perfectly.
Excellent Chicken and Rice! Ten times better than Halal Guys. The Lamb and Beef and Combo platters are my favorite.
Great tasting food. Arguably better than halal guys imo. The rice is probably one of the best I've had in a shawarma style joint. The chicken and lamb were very flavorful. The pop pricing is a little outrageous (2.90 for a likkle bottle!!), or they could've gotten my full 5 stars!
Wanted to try this spot out because of the ratings & we like Halal Guys. The rice is excellent, but everything else is just ok. We paid $2 for Pita & you can see that I didn't even get a 1/2 of a pita bread. Our lamb tasted seasoned but was overcooked. For the amount you pay, you would think you would get more meat & toppings. It's a good place if you're in the area & just want something to eat.
$30 plus for a chicken and rice bowl. Ordered extra chicken, yet the bowl size was smaller than a palm size. Ordered waffle fries, potato cutlet, pita and falafel, which they shoved in the little bowl, instead of giving full ride and chicken bowl with extra chicken, and in the process also ruined the sides and made them soggy. Charged for extra sauce, which is really minimal sauce. For this price, it is not worth it.
We got 2 mixed bowls and a gyro.. we're all so STUFFED! ? Usually I'd save half my food bowl but it was so yummy I just kept eating, they PACK these bowls too, so yea.. I need a food coma nap now.. We got delivery and it arrived hot still, the pita bread was still so soft and warm. I'm definitely going to order this again.
Very tiny little place with about 6 tables that can seat about 18 people, but there is a long bar against the wall for people to stand if needed. I ordered the Big Guys Mixed Platter - combination bowl with chicken and gyro meat. Served on rice with fresh veggies and a white sauce (ranch) and an orange sauce (small amount of spice). It was very filling and fresh for sure...they source all of their produce from a local farmers market which is really cool that they are supporting their community.
If you want good halal food, do not order from here. The white and red sauce are not the regular white and red sauce. Not even close. Food Portion is tiny… I’m not even sure if I got double meat. If I did, the regular portion is sad. If you order a “side pita”, you get maybe 1/2 a pita cut into strips. I had high hopes but this isn’t it.
Their NYC halal platters are amazing! The rice is really good, the chicken is marinated, juicy, and tender, and the signature sauces top it all off! I've never heard of aloo prior to eating here, but I've grown to love that too!!
all halal!! bowl isn’t as big for $12. paratha roll and pita rolls were great. a bit pricey but good option. no parking nearby.
