Halal sign outside restaurant and also verbally confirmed by restaurant staff. Service was friendly and prompt, food was tasty although the kebab I had was a little tough and the bread chewy. Pumpkin starter was delicious!
Kabul Restaurant is a hidden gem in Munich. The staff is attentive, polite and helpful. The food is so delicious. The grilled meat was tender and the rice was amazingly flavorful. I couldn’t get enough of the rice. The complementary sauces went along really well with the meat. You can choose your choice of side. I chose the spinach for some greens. I had doogh, a savory yogurt drink along with the food. Everything was excellent. Highly recommend!

A quiet little gem just a short walk from centre of Munich. Great food with large portions (don’t order a starter) with friendly staff. Ask for an English menu unless your German is tip top!
The food was amazing and the portions were really good, The food took a bit long to get prepared but nothing major. The price is reasonable for the portion.
I experienced an issue with the Chapli Kebab, as it was overcooked and had a tough texture. Additionally, I encountered difficulties with the payment process when the credit card machine was inoperable and cash was requested. While there is potential for improvement in both the culinary offerings and staff conduct, I cannot recommend this establishment at its current price point. I also question the authenticity of the Afghan cuisine provided. Consequently, I will not be returning.
As a last minute arrangement, we decided to have dinner at Kabul on new year’s eve. The service was fast and the portions were big. The restaurant is compact and it has a bit of a frantic feel about it, but somehow it all adds up to a nice buzz. The food was tasty and we enjoyed all the starters, main meals and deserts. We paid about €180 for 4 people, which is not cheap but it is reasonable value for 4 people having 2 or 3 courses each. Give it a try if you’re a fan of Middle Eastern cuisine and if you enjoy a relaxed setting 👍🏻👍🏻
