If your looking for halal but looking for something more authentic and sit down then chicken and rice or juicy platters. This is the spot. We always order the kabob combo for two and ots just the right amount of food. And everything is delicious. Cant go wrong. Anna is great too.
I order for from them and pick it up, every time I am disappointed, but last night was the worst. The girl who answers the phone doesn't understand English or Farsi, I asked her please tell them not to over cook the kabob, I want the barg medium and asked for family style. I ordered a lot of food because I had company. I picked up 8 individual boxes completely burnt. The food you order it's never consistent, sometimes it's much smaller portions than what you get when you eat in the restaurant. Sometimes they you bread and onion and lemon, sometimes they don't. They often not that busy and yet they can't handle your order. I paid a lot of money, my guests.left hungry and most of the food ended up in the garbage. I will not order from them again.
Went into the establishment, first impression it was very clean, & was a sanitized place, the lady greeted me with a beautiful smile, went & ordered the double kabob chicken with the rice it came out fairly cheap, food was beyond delicious fresh & hot, definitely recommend for good eats definitely want to go back, all around service a+
My love for Persian food developed while visiting the West Coast. It's been hard to find many spots in the Northeast that serve Persian food that's even comparable to what you get in the West Coast. My friend and I found this spot nearby in North Jersey, and we had to give it a try. We stoped in on a Friday evening to a fairly busy restaurant. The owner acknowledged and greeted us immediately. The dining style is pretty casual where customers can sit at any open table. We were very glad to find Tahdig on the menu, since my friend had been wanting to try it for a while. The owner took our appetizer and entree orders promptly after bringing over some fresh bread. He was the only employee waiting all of the tables, and he did managed to provide excellent service. Our Tahdig came out first, topped with our choice of Gheimeh (beef and split pea stewed in tomato sauce). This my first time trying stew on top of Tahdig, and I was surprised at how well it complemented the dish. The crispy rice was cooked to perfection as well; the Tahdig far exceeded our expectations. The entrees came out shortly after the appetizer. My friend and I both ordered the Kabob Soltani, which comes with one skewer of Beef Kabob and one of Koobideh. Every component of the meal was perfect. The meat was flavorful and cooked to perfection. The Saffron Basmati came very close to what I've had on the West Coast. Even the salad veggies were perfectly fresh and crispy. We had an exceptional dining experience with excellent food quality and great service. Even though Kabob On The Cliff is quite a drive for both me and my friend, we'll definitely be back soon.
Both Chicken and Lamb kabobs were delicious, portion size was ok. The bread was very crispy and tasted very good. The ambiance was nice and service was fine too.
I loved the chicken Kebob. The rice is fresh and is a good combination with kebab juiciness. The sauce is homemade. The environment is very modern with traditional food. The servers are extra friendly. The baklava is good and sold there too.
This halal lamb shank with spiced rice offers a warm and satisfying dinner. The slow cooking brings out the depth of flavor in every ingredient, making it both comforting and impressive for special occasions or weeknight indulgence.
The good was Amazing. The enormous amount of joy I had eating the food.. the kabob chicken and beef lamb mix was amazing . I finished everything on my platter . The bread the served with the hummus was the delicacy. The chocolate lava cake was our dessert. The experience of this lunch was really Good .
