The (filet mignon) shish kabob meal is one of the best values you can get in town! It takes about 15-20 minutes because they cook to order. The beef is flavorful & tender, and it comes with rice, hummus, pita & a side of tomatoes & pickles, which tastes amazing mixed in with the rice. It sounds very odd, but the flavors just work really well together! I always get a side of the garlic sauce too, which I think goes very well with the beef & pita. I've also enjoyed their tabbouli salad & their baba ganoush is also excellent. My husband loves their lamb shank. The Mediterranean pies are somewhat like a pizza, I like the cheese pie & the za'atar (thyme) pie. They're also very affordable (about $2-$3 each).
1/23/25'- Food still good, but if you know how to make koobideh or kabob i suggest you use the time at home as youll surely get the order quicker. No matter if there are orders in front of yours or not it for some reason always takes 25 to 35 mins to make a kabob or shwarma plate and ive yet to figure out why? When i make koobideh at my house the time is in the prep work, not the cook time... here the prep work has been done as of that morning. One of lifes great mysteries im guessing. In short if you are told 15 mins for a pick up order i wouldnt worry a bit if you showed at 30 as youll likely be just on time or have 5 to wait. So going by what's told to me at 5:55 pm it was put to me that with 3 caterings to put together that at some point pre 5 pm they had run out of rice to go with prepared meals for dine in or take out. When rice certainly doesn't take the time to prep or even cook such as lamb shank or some other "major" potion of the meal, I'd say the acting mgr on this day (7/25/24') hasn't a clue of proper customer service or satisfaction. One wouldn't expect a days portion of rice to be made, but enough to cover at least 7 to 15 meals would've be more than doable. IMPORTANT SIDENOTE- you can be the sole order being made, "10- 15 mins" is a standard statement made at all times, if none of the male personnel are working the kitchen, it won't be 20/25 but closer to 30 mins, and mind you that's for 1 or 4 plate meals.
It’s a restaurant inside Baiz market. the food tastes great.
Best food and fast service and good price looking for the quality .
The best Mediterranean food I've had in a long time. Very fresh and authentic to the taste. The portions are big and prices are very reasonable. We ordered the beef burger today and it was a big hit, it's not like anything you would have at another place, it's obvious how fresh it is! We also tried the beef kabob and chicken shwarma before and it was literally the best!
one of the best spots to get beef shawerma the authentic way in arizona(inside Baiz market). Sandwich is always hot and toasted the way you want it. also, the chicken sandwich is juice with the amazing garlic sauce (always want more on the side to dip in. love the place and will be back for more.???
Best middle eastern restaurant in the valley . The chicken shawarma tastes so good because they have the best garlic sauce in addition to a large variety of dishes Its the place to go try the middle eastern flavors
Minimalist, unpretentious but delicious Middle Eastern restaurant located in the Baiz market. Take-out or dine-in options. Cash & credit cards accepted. Beef, lamb, and chicken options. Kafta, kebabs, pita sandwiches as well as entrees available. Prices are quite reasonable and the food is delicious. Depending on how busy they are and how big your order is you may need to wait 20 minutes+ for your food, so plan ahead if you're on a time crunch. A variety of canned sodas and juices as drink options.
