About Sam's Chicken

Casual fast food featuring a variety of chicken menu items. Sam's started in operation in 1990 with its first restaurant in Wealdstone, Harrow, Middlesex. It has expanded since then to more than 34 outlets nationwide though its main presence is in London. Sam has developed his own secret mix of spices that goes into the flour preparation and the process of cooking that gives the crispy golden brown chicken product lines, which holds the key to its business success.

I used to have Sam’s regularly around 10 years ago in Kentish Town and remembered it fondly. After a decade, I came across Sam’s on Kilburn Lane and decided to go in, feeling nostalgic, and bought a large portion of chicken wings. Unfortunately, this experience was very disappointing. The wings were greasy and had almost no flavour, nothing like what I remembered. Worse, after eating them, I woke up with continuous stomach pain, which was very concerning. This visit really didn’t live up to my past experience of Sam’s. I hope the management looks into food quality and hygiene, as this was not a good experience at all.
