Staff has given verbal assurance of halal status.. About Dave's halal status: 'While halal chicken is slightly more expensive - roughly 10 cents more per pound for Dave's - the founders feel both the flavor and the opportunity to reach a wider market, halal diners, is more than worth the cost.
Louisiana style spicy hot fried Chicken. Parking lot sensations now serving at a brick and mortar in Los Angeles. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept - take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw - they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Saw this place was opposite the hotel we were staying at and decided to give it a try, Grabbed a slider with an extra tender and I really enjoyed the meal, had a variety of heat you could choose including one that had a waiver to sign, Good flavor and serving size
James was should a great employee. Made sure everyone was ok. Helping everyone with the app. Melissa in the front door was very polite as well. Got my food fast
I ordered the number 2, with the spice "hot" and it was indeed spicy.
Food was great, service was of particular note, the two gentlemen on the till and order organising area were good sorts. We went in when it was a little bit quieter, so can’t comment to much on the atmosphere- we only ate the chicken bites, but will be back to the some other elements soon enough!
Best chicken tenders. The whole experience is wonderful. I would come back to this branch again
It’s so great! I am so happy they opened at this new location in Ktown:) I live that they managed to create such crispy fried yet the meats remains juicy. The fries ? are great too! Next time I might challenge the extra hot ? haha. We went on Saturday afternoon at 3pm to avoid the long line.
I just arrived in LA yesterday and was starving. Found this location by pure luck and decided to try it out. Needless to say, the spices are amazing, and the flavor is just right that it does not overwhelm you. A pretty hearty meal for dinner, I left fully satisfied. Definitely would recommend anyone to try out their chain.
New spot I think this is either their third or fourth. It's also on the got chicken theme. It's quite good, I had the medium which is perfectly medium not too hot but has some good flavor. I had both the strip and slider and both were good. I also liked the dressing with it. They have seasoned fries as well which were tasty. Nice atmosphere and reasonable prices, would highly recommend!
