The atmosphere is 10/10, the food is like a 7.5/10. Highly recommend everyone go for the vibes and view. The wagyu strip was good, nothing to go crazy over. The fish entree with crab stuff was okay.

We had a very mixed experience at this restaurant. We had spent the extra money to reserve a window view, which we got. But, the moment Sergio, the server, sat us down he said they were in a hurry, and that we needed to leave pretty soon, that they had other people overbooked at the restaurant, and even pointed to another individual who might ask us to leave early. I reminded him that we paid the extra money for the nice view seats, and that we were celebrating my 66th birthday, and I wasn't going anywhere early. Immediately, that set us off on the wrong foot with Sergio. After ordering drinks, we ordered their large seafood tower, the most expensive thing on the menu. However, Sergio was worried. He said, I don't know, that takes a long time and I'm not sure we have the time for that. He ran off to check something, and came back and said that was okay. That wasn't okay with us! Aren't we supposed to order whatever we want off the menu? Anyway, when we received our meals, we were horrified. We had ordered two New York wagyu steak dinners and one rack of lamb. First of all, there was no rack of any lamb. It was just two double bone lamb chops. One was overcooked, and the other one was undercooked. The worst part was with the New York steaks. They seemed more like chunked and formed meat, not real steaks with any grain at all. It was rubbery gristle, much like the sole of a shoe. Our knives had an extremely difficult time cutting through them, so you could imagine what it was like to try to chew it. This was the lowest quality, below commercial grade, meat I have ever been served in my life! There's absolutely no excuse whatsoever for any steakhouse on the planet to serve meat like this, let alone a high-end place like Top of the World. Utterly disgusted with the meat, we had asked for the manager, Kim, to come over. We explained to her how the lamb was over and undercooked, how the mushrooms were burnt, and how our steaks weren't even real meat. I had even asked her to take a bite to prove to her that we weren't making anything up. She stood there nodding her head as if she already knew about the quality of those steaks. She offered to bring more steaks. So, my wife asked for their regular dry aged New York and I asked her to tell the chef to serve me the best steak they have in house. The replacement steak my wife got was excellent, one of the best steaks she's had in a long time. The 3-in thick bone-in filet mignon I was served was superb, nearly the best steak I've ever had. So, what went wrong? Why didn't we get good steaks in the first place? Why did our server want us to leave the moment we sat down? He basically ignored us the whole time, I guess figuring that we weren't drinking alcohol so his tip wasn't going to be very large, I don't know. Obviously he was upset at us from the moment we walked in, for no known reason. I handed him a Chase Freedom Unlimited credit card to pay the bill, and he stopped and said oh no this might cause a problem. I might have to wait for the bank to call us back, or maybe you have to call them to authorize this. Sergio had no business implying I could not afford the bill, or what my business was with my bank, or what my limits were. This really upset me to the point where I started shaking. What the heck was he thinking? We all decided that Sergio did not earn anything from us. So, after we left the restaurant, he chased us down to ask where his tip was! Can you believe that? We were at a secondary exit, difficult to find, and he chased us down to ask where our tip was. I reported this to Kim, the manager. At this point I was infuriated. All she did was to offer me a refund of the $25 seat fee that we had paid for the nice view. Nothing else. I think Sergio needs to be fired, or at least retrained. Kim needs to learn customer service. There's no reason to ever return to this restaurant. Who knows what garbage they will initially serve under the guise of luxury food. How many people were served those rubber steaks, and didn't say anything? I'm thoroughly disgusted at TotW!

Very neat experience and the food was FANTASTIC! I've stopped by a few steakhouses during my stay in LV and this was hands down the best.
