Biryani tikka kabob was so good! The food had the perfect spice, goat was cooked all the way, the palak was so good and creamery. felt like a home and authentic vibe. the owner was so sweet and helpful
I recently had the pleasure of dining, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. If you're a fan of Pakistani cuisine, this place is a must-visit. The highlight of my meal was undoubtedly the Chicken Biryani, which was a perfect blend of aromatic spices and tender chicken. Each bite was a flavorful journey, leaving me craving for more. The Dal was rich and creamy, providing a comforting contrast to the spiciness of the biryani. But the star of the show was the Goat Karahi—a dish bursting with robust flavors, with succulent pieces of goat cooked to perfection. The service was top-notch. The staff was attentive and friendly, making sure our needs were met without being intrusive. They were knowledgeable about the menu and provided excellent recommendations. making it a great place for both casual meals and special occasions. The decor reflects the rich culture of Pakistan, adding to the overall dining experience. delicious food, excellent service, and a welcoming ambiance. It's a culinary gem that deserves all the praise it gets. Highly recommended!
I was headed to the post office on 13th street when I noticed this kabab restaurant. I thought, I'll stop in on my way back. What a treat, I had the curry lamb with rice. I must say that it has to the best curry sauce that I have ever had. The flavors were bold and rich and the lamb was cooked to perfection. I will most definitely be going back!
I ordered the chicken tikka masala each for $13.99 and [only got six small pieces of chicken] in an oily salty sauce and a small container of oily rice for $3.99. The guy who took my order was taking his sweet time acting like he was cleaning before he came to help me when I was the only person in the restaurant except for the one family who was already seated and eating. I’m waiting for my food and I hear a bell chime coming from the back. The guy isn’t paying attention, he’s more busy talking to people who already have their food. Five or so minutes go by and the bell chimes again but he still isn’t paying attention. I pull out my phone and set a timer, after five more minutes I stand up by the door and that’s when he notices me and tells me my food is coming. He takes his time taking another person’s order before he takes his time to walk to the back to get my food and then takes his time to walk over to me so I walk up and meet him half way to take my food and he pulls it away to slowly walk to grab a stapler and insists on stapling it before he slowly hands me my food. I live just up the street and when I opened to eat my food literally five minutes later my food was already cold/lukewarm. The food was so greasy and salty that my stomach is a bit upset. Despite the lackadaisical service the taste was still pretty good but I don’t think I wanna come back often to pay $20 for greasy, cold, and small portions. ?
The man at the front was extremely rude. He seemed agitated from the moment I started asking questions about the ingredients of the meals to be considerate of my allergies (wheat & dairy). He insisted that I was wasting his time - suggesting that I couldn’t afford the food because I needed to split my payment between multiple cards due to a company card cap on daily spending. He further asserted on three occasions that I was not a respectable customer if I would not sit down next to a man coughing without a mask on, while I was waiting for my food. In the end, I waited 30 minutes for a simple fish vindaloo and basmati rice and I felt extremely uncomfortable throughout the experience as a paying customer. The food itself tasted decent for $20 but the experience is dulled by the rude service. The owners of this establishment also had a very young and sweet child that ran around invading everyone’s space. Other customers complained and asked the owners to intervene but the behavior continued.
While the biryani tasted OK, it was not really authentic biryani more like lamb mixed in with rice with a whole lot of oil. The ambience is not that great more like a hole in the wall place. I don’t believe I would visit again.
I wanted to reach out and express my gratitude for the incredible dining experience I had at your restaurant. The chicken tika kabab, chicken seekh kabab, and naan with lamb biryani were absolutely outstanding. The flavors were exquisite, and the service was exceptional. I truly enjoyed every bite and cannot wait to return for more. Thank you for exceeding my expectations. Keep up the fantastic work!!!
If you're looking for an authentic Indian dining experience, this place is an absolute great! The flavors are rich, the spices perfectly balanced, and every dish tastes like it was made with love. I highly recommend the butter chicken—it’s creamy, flavorful, and pairs wonderfully with their fresh naan. The place is friendly, and the ambiance is warm and inviting. Whether you're a fan of spicy food or prefer something mild, they have something for everyone!!!
