Three childhood friends, just $900 to our names and a dream hotter than our chicken. In 2017, we opened in a gritty East Hollywood parking lot—folding tables, a portable fryer, and the LA night sky. Then, Instagram did its thing. People came, tasted and spread the word. Friends told friends. And soon enough, EATER LA sent a reporter. One bite of our hot chicken tender and he was hooked. The next day, he wrote, “East Hollywood’s New Late Night Hot Chicken Stand Might Blow Your Mind.”

GoogleBest. Chicken place. Ever. We’ve ordered Dave #2 and a Chicken burger. The food was fantastic; especially the fries. The taste of it dipped in Dave’s special sauce was so, so good. The service was great, too. Tarak was very friendly with us, making the meal a lot better. And don’t get me started on the atmosphere. The graffiti painted around the walls was a great touch. Never would have imagined experiencing an American vibe in my trip to the UK. Would LOVE to give it 6 stars.
