I visited The Banc for the first time today and had a really lovely experience overall. We were seated by Helima, who was extremely warm and welcoming, and looked after throughout our meal by Asiya. Asiya was patient, kind, and very polite, and she gave great recommendations which we really appreciated. Both of them made us feel genuinely looked after, especially as it was our first visit. The atmosphere and decor are beautiful, the restaurant has a real quality feel to it. Some of the food was exceptional, particularly the bread and the cocktails, which really stood out. The mains were nicely presented and enjoyable, though I do feel they’re slightly overpriced for what they are. That said, you’re definitely paying for the ambience and the excellent service as much as the food itself. Because of the amazing service and the overall experience, I would absolutely return, just probably not as often as I’d like due to the higher price point. Overall, a great first visit and a big thank you to Helima and Asiya for making it special.
