Mevlana was established in 2006 and it is a fully licenced, air conditioned restaurant with a refrigerated display of raw kebabs, a steaming, sizzling ocak grill, a hot table laden with simmering stews and braises. Hot pide and sac breads accompany starters of lentil soup or garlicky cacik, and ezme is a winning dish of roasted aubergine mashed with olive oil, fresh tomato, green herbs and hot pepper. A great find on our night out in Enfield! A nice selection of bread, salad and pickle was served before our main meal (reminds me of our holiday in Turkey). Nicely cooked food from the diverse menu. All food served by traditionally dressed waitresses. Polite and friendly service.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the team at Rumi Mosque for their outstanding support during a very difficult time. Imam Adam and team worked tirelessly to arrange my grandfather’s funeral, managing everything with professionalism and care. This included the collection of his body from the morgue to the mosque, cold storage, ghusl in a dedicated facility, transport to the cemetery for his janaza, and ensuring he reached his final resting place. Alhamdulillah, Rumi Mosque provided full assistance throughout the entire process, handling every detail with dignity and compassion. Their dedication and commitment made a challenging time much easier for our family. I highly recommend Rumi Mosque for anyone seeking Islamic funeral services. May Allah Ta’ala bless the entire team for their hard work, sincerity, and unwavering support. Ameen.
