Dodgy. They have a certificate that the beef is halal, but they cook it on the same grill is haraam food. I asked this to a member of staff there. I stopped going. Should have asked before, but didn't think about it. Doh!

Even if the beef is halal, they still serve bacon (pork) and therefore if they mix them together, then it would not be halal anymore.

salam / hi, actually, i'd recommend that you check this with the local muslim community authority i.e. the incorp trustees of the islamic community fund of hk & serving islam team (hong kong) who actually do the halal certification in hk. they are many people (e.g. restaurant staffs, agents, shop owners) in hk who claims they sell halal food but many of them are seriously doubtful. nonetheless, they are still many alternative halal eateries in hk. ALlahu'alam. krgds & wsm.

I have spoken to the head office. All the Beef is Halal at Origin. They have provided me with a Halal Certificate. Only the Beef is Halal.
