I’m so disappointed dining in this restaurant. We ordered for 70$ for 2 person “MIXED GRILL SPECIAL FROM CHEF” it was very expensive and food wasn’t fresh it felt like they heated the meat and brought to us. The meat was very dry. Wherever you go to Turkish restaurant Mixed grill consists of lamb chops, kofte chicken adana meat adana and all kind of meat especially for this price 70$ ! But this restaurant they brought only 2 pieces of Adana and 1 piece lamb and 2 small pieces dry chicken and full plate of rice. I never ever visit your restaurant again !
My mom was fasting and she wanted to eat good food so we decided to go to this restaurant because she likes Turkish food and the country when we came we were greeted by a nice man that works here after that they had us sit at a nice place we chose to sit at and then they brought us some good appetizers and water everything was good the food was delicious if I came to this restaurant and wanted to eat something good I would recommend the donor kebab?
The food was really delicious. They make everything themselves including the appetizers. Doner was fresh. They put a new doner twice a day. You need to make a reservation for dinner or there is no place. Luckily for us, we were able to find a table after waiting for a while. The prices are not very cheap but the food is delicious. We had katmer for dessert and it was very good. There were 6 types of raki. They said they have Turkish breakfast everyday. Not tried it yet.
On 01.19.25 my friend said. We need to eat some real food. I can go without eating alot but I know she can't be like me... so I said, I'll treat you order what u want. She ordered and I added lentil soup to have delivered . Oh my gosh, the soup was so good. So the next evening we said let's go and enjoy it in person. That's what we did. We ordered delicious food and of course the lentil soup. Then we got an array of desserts and enjoyed.... the Turkish coffee... I think i was in the 7th heaven!! My goodness. I love Turkish food. My friends loved it, too. I'm dreaming of it. The owner is exceptionally nice!!! You have to try it.
Unfortunately food was not we expected. Especially hamsi/ Turkish anchovy ( if it was that one hoping i ate the one that came from turkey) taste was hard to feel anchovy. Plus it was so expensive $30 for a small plate left not full. Iskender was better and pricing was better too. But putting yogurt under the meat made the bread underneath colder but at least filling portion. Tea was ok did not taste really good maybe it was not fresh. Hopefully next time i can have better experience. Update: i tried doner kebab and lentil soup. They were delicious. I saw service charge on the check though could not understand why there was this mandatory charge.
The food was amazing, and it made the drive from Maryland worth it. It left me wishing I could find a location in Maryland. I loved that the employees spoke Arabic. I didn't take a picture of the calamari, but if you like calamari, you should order it here. The lamb and grilled veggies were delicious. They have great prices for a large amount of food. I left with lunch and dinner for the next day. At the same time, don't buy their Turkish tea because it's just Lipton tea. I would suggest making a reservation because they were busy.
Excellent service and great food!! Definitely coming back! Everything was good! I was so exited to try the Turkish cuisine, and it was the best decision to choose this restaurant, they really took a good care of us especially the Iraqi guy, it was a really pleasant and wonderful experience!
Cool interior with Turkish design. Service is super nice as well. The food was delicious. I enjoyed the cold mezze platter with dips, especially the hummus. The doner kebap was flavorful and portions were well sized for the price
