A halal certificate is clearly visible on the premises.. All food at this restaurant is certified halal.
They're very enthusiastic but do not have a unifying description of their restaurant chain. Random quote from their website: 'Super Pollo is called the 'go to place' for Peruvian chicken. The chicken is always tender and delicious. The steak fries are always served hot, the rice (PLAIN RICE) has a flavor that many would love to replicate in the kitchen. And a common request is 'extra sauce please!''

I\'ve been here countless times. This is the best place to get rotisserie chicken (halal) in the DMV by far. The chicken is cooked over charcoal and has a distinct charcoal taste. The chicken is always juicy and tasty and fresh. No wait times! Sides are decent, but go here for the chicken! They also have Desi foods, but I wouldn\'t recommend. And various other foods like carne asada etc. GET THE CHICKEN!
Had 1/4 chicken with mashed potatoes and salad. Felt that the chicken was a bit too salty. Mashed potatoes was interesting.
It is amazing
I would agree with the other reviews; this place is awesome. The chicken is very juicy. If you order a kabob be prepared to wait. They cook the kabobs to order and it take some time. Everything else is on the steam table and rotisserie. Prices are average but I would recommend eating here for dinner as the portions and the price are bit much for mid-day.
I'm so glad that I was convinced to try Super Pollo. After eating Coco Rico, I was hesitant to try it out, but it was delicious. I got half a chicken (and they accommodated my request for two chicken breasts for an extra buck I think), corn and mashed potato. I can have the gravy? Yes, please! Their green sauce is excellent, though I decline the mustard sauce out of personal preference. I will say, I'm not fond of their desi food - kabobs and chana, and their flan is okay, but I love the chicken and the sides.
This place is interesting. It's an all-halal Peruvian chicken spot, that also sells burgers, kabobs, even karahi now. They pretty much sell everything, which isn't always a good sign for a restaurant, but they seem to do a decent job of it. The portions are big, but the chicken isn't quite as flavorful as Coco Rico's halal Peruvian chicken. My favorite thing at this spot is actually the beef steak. They serve up some great skirt steak, which is pretty reasonably priced. Overall, the food is okay, it's mostly big portions and decent prices.
Based on the reviews I went to this place. Sort of a whole in the wall, but easy to get to. My combo order of roasted chicken and mashed potatoes was good. Yucca fries was very good, esp with the spicy dipping sauce. total price with drinks and tip was $13. Not bad, but prob wont return.
My order 1/4 chicken combo, mashed potatoes & cole slaw was average quality meal.Roasted Chicken was greasy. Mashed potatoes average & cole slaw was too liquidy. Workers from Honduras but confirmed owner is Pakistani born Muslim. I noticed framed copies of Four Quls & Ayat Kursi on opposite wall. There is also a kabab menu with 4 entries. Average price for most entries are $10. I paid $9.30 for the combo+drink.I did not find this good value. I could have gone to Kabab Palace or Ravi & had a much tasty tandori meal but decided to check this one out & patronize a muslim establishment. Zakatullah!
This place is awesome, just awesome!
They have a large "Lahm Halal" green neon sign on the window now. Not only is their chicken is very good, but their side order items are really tasty! Yucca fries, fried plantains, creamed spinach and chickpeas, are all very good. Best of all, speedy service. Definitely going back. Don't forget to try their flan, it's not too sweet or runny, just right!

Generous servings of perfectly roasted chicken, making this a great value as well as a tasty Halal option.
Very very tasty roasted chicken. For those who have experienced having chicken roast in Lahore, Pakistan, this place will bring happiness on your faces. They have halal chicken certificate hanging inside the restaurant wall. Only chicken items are halal. They roast chicken in this big rotisserie with coals in it and the taste is just mouth watering. Prices are reasonable. Customer service is ok and bathrooms are ok as well. I am giving an excellent rating only because of their awesome chicken.

The food did not taste very good. It was very bland, reminded me of school cafeteria food. I got a Cheeseburger.

We've been going here over the past 10 years. The tables and chairs are all sticky. The corn on the cob was so over cooked it was hard and chewy and didn't even taste like corn. The chicken was fine.

Bad customer service and they charge you for something that is not true and when you complain they say it is the same thing
El lomo saltado no es bueno. Parece que de buffet. Que vergüenza ? The lomo saltado is not authentic, and they charge $18. ? I ordered 4 for my Hispanic crew, and they all hated it. Worst $90 I've spent. But they liked the soda.
Every clean. Excellent customer services. I ordered the Steak n chicken sub with fries, very good serving size and great flavor. The photo taken of the food has been half eaten and repacked for lunch tomorrow. LOL
Tender chicken, perfect seasoning on the skin. The chick peas where a hit. Cooked exactly how I enjoy. There is much more I want to try. I hope I have a chance too.
La comida era muy buena. I had 1/4 chicken with rice and salad and a soda for $11. A good deal. Not the cleanest place but good food and friendly staff. I left satisfied and with a smile.
It’s a shame I’ve lived <2 miles away from this place for three years until I decided to try it. I always went to the McDonald’s next to it. It’s a fantastic chicken joint with delicious food and reasonable quantities for the price. ~$19.50 for a half pound of chicken with two sides (such as mashed potatoes, corn, fries, etc.) and a quarter pound of chicken with two sides is a hard bargain to beat. Especially when it’s so delicious. They have hot sauce and ketchup at the tables as well as their yellow and green sauces. I’m not a fan of the green one but the yellow is like a simple honey mustard and it’s really good. Parking in front or back. Only con is no fountain drink machines so you have to buy from the cooler. Otherwise, a great underrated restaurant.

I odered the Beef with brown rice & chicken along with plantains, when placing my order the cashier, a short woman, had an attitude the rice was hard the beef cubes were also hard & over cooked the plantains were hard in the middle. I wouldn't recomend this place ?
