I heard the chef used to cook in London which of course is the best Indian food. And being English I crave for great Indian food which is hard to find in LA. We were very happy with our first meal here. It will be our go to Indian restaurant in the future. Actual restaurant is small but Indian is one of the best foods that survives travel, delivery and take-out.
Food: Delicious food must visit… we tried malai kofta and shahi paneer… and biryani…taste amazing …authentic indian taste. They give you complimentary papad and chutneys which are also delicious…. must visit..love the food. Ambience: Its small place with 5 6 tables but clean and neat. so good reviews there…
Isn't it nice when a place with great reviews lives up to the expectations? Or even surpasses them? I ordered the butter chicken and brown rice. Before I even touched it you could see how creamy the sauce was. Like it was whipped almost. The flavor was rich and it was absolutely loaded with chicken. I scraped the bowl clean. Came back and had the tandoori chicken...best I've ever had. Can even choose your spice level. I have never associated WeHo with great food but I may have to start making a regular trip. This is without a doubt the best Indian restaurant I've ever been to.
We have spent two years trying to find fantastic, fresh Indian cuisine. Our search is over. This is the best Indian restaurant in the city!!! And, the service is beyond anything we have experienced. Everyone here was friendly, kind and very grateful and eager to serve and guide. The food was delicious. We had Saag Paneer, Paneer Tikka Masala (both out of this world), Aloo Gobi (was good but I prefer a traditional “dry” Aloo Gobi), and Dal Tarka, plus rice, chapati, roti and Tandoor Paneer (we love paneer!!!) I can’t wait to go again!!!
Very delicious! FYI no restroom… come with clean hands.
A little spot in West Horrywood. I got the seafood curry with shrimp and my buddy got the butter chicken with rice and the best cheese naan I've ever had! This is the place to go to satisfy your Indian food craving with a little break from the hustle and bustle of the city ?
We were here for dinner. They have a smaller setup and can seat around 20 people. The food was delicious! They take their spice seriously and we loved almost everything. The down side is that you will have to opt for paid street parking outside and they dont have restroom available to their guests. Would still recommend for the food though!
The food at this restaurant is simply outstanding. The service was exceptional from start to finish. We had the chicken tandoori, which was perfectly cooked. The chicken masala was equally impressive. The biryani and lamb dishes were loaded with juicy, tender meat. The naan bread was also perfectly prepared. Overall, this place deserves a 10 out of 10 for its value for money. We will definitely return and highly recommend it. It’s easily one of the best if not the BEST Indian restaurants in LA.
