A hidden gem.... Casual seating but truly AUTHENTIC, DELICIOUS food. Service was exemplary and the staff always go above and beyond. I was first introduced to them when they catered for an event I attended. Everyone just loved the food !!! This is my second time there in person but definitely not my last. !! Thank you TARBOOSH
Best Turkish style food I’ve had in the city. This quaint restaurant offers delightful staff and many incredible food options. We were greeted by Modi who was very helpful, answering all our questions and making recommendations. Our group ordered chicken and beef shawarma, veggie falafel, Knafeh, and baklava. Every meal was made to order, and so tasty! They really put extra effort into the seasoning and quality of the food. That being said it is small scale dining, so only a few tables and you will be eating with plastic silverware. Don’t let that fool you, the food tastes as if it were a fine dining experience. The menu is moderately priced for the portion size, we had plenty of leftovers. The Knafeh has to be ordered an hour or so in advance, and definitely worth planning ahead for.
Genuinely love their food, it’s delicious, super fresh, reminds me of cozy home food. we had the chicken shuwarma platter and beef pepperoni ? manakesh. Service was accommodating and amazing. All halal too ????
Many shawarma spots in Boston but this is the only place that makes them as they do back home! Gotta get saj style every other style is not true shawarma. Their freshly made pizzas are also amazing. A 45min trip is worth it for me. Just a tip make to sure call before heading down. Many times they are listed as open on Google but are actually closed.
The best restaurant represents our real Mediterranean food in Boston. Their food is delicious and Halal. Their staff is friendly and even their service is tremendously excellent.
Absolutely loved this place. Friendly staff and incredibly tasty food. I would highly recommend the chicken schwarma as a grilled saj sandwich with fries. It was super tasty. I also ordered the chicken nuggets, which was a good portion size.
I always love tarboosh and have eaten here regularly since moving to Boston. Food is great for takeout as it holds up for 20 minutes or so and substantial portions.
I ordered a beef and a lamb shawarma plate. The meat was well seasoned and you can taste the fresh herbs. I thoroughly enjoyed the crispiness of the Saj Bread and the fries were equally as hot and crunch. I found that the price to portion ratio could have been a little better as the shawarma was not as big as I thought it would have been, but nonetheless, I would recommend Tarboosh for anyone looking for good Syrian comfort food.
