I've been here a couple of times. I like the shawarmas here. They're juicy and filling. The food is good and not expensive.

It is expensive but the food was not good. We had a very dry lamb kebab, and the vegetable in the kebab was not fresh. We ate downstairs where the dining tables are placed, and it was not clean.

It wasn't really as bad as the other reviewer mentioned. Their Falafel sandwich was really great, but their Kafta plate was so-so. The hot sauce is seriously dangerous by all means, be careful. I can see how the seating area could be a problem during hot weather, but that's the case with many restaurants in Boston area. The service is rather clueless, which is normal for many Halal restaurants these days.

We went to this Middle-Eastern place when we were at Harvard Square a few days ago, and boy were we disappointed. The two young gents running the place could barely understand our simple questions about ingredients used and how their dishes/sandwiches were put together. The hot sauce that we asked them to put on our Chicken Shawarma sandwiches was like **Liquid Fire** - our lips were burning for quite some time afterwards. They should've warned us about how extremely hot their hot sauce was. The lamb/beef dinner plate came with meat that mostly just gristle or fat - it barely had any edible tender meat that one would expect. Neither the chicken shawarma nor the beef/lamb dinner plate had any taste; one would expect Hummous and Tahina to have the "usual" taste and flavour profile found at a decent Middle Eastern joint... not so at this place. They had an indoor seating area down below but there was no fan or air ventilation in there - it would have been better suited as a sauna. OVERALL: a very disappointing place to eat esp considering that we paid US$28 for 4 adults and 1 child and none of us were really satisfied with the food.
